Ha Ha. funny. Anyway my friend ran it like this for about a week because hes a fuckin retard. I never said he was smart and I tried telling him how to break it in. He has a thick head and wanted to see if he could break it so......whateva. I didnt lose shit bro, I gained some laughs cause he's an idiot that broke a brand new revo not me. I had my revo there the same day and ran it like you're supposed to and he called me a pussy and broke his out. I was documenting stupidity thats all.

I had to replace the one way bearing twice in my electric starter. Easy fix though, it only takes a few minutes now that im fast at taking motor out and re-installing it. Ill never go back to pull start. Fuck that headache.

dude if you want to keep the same one way for a long period of time then you should take it out about once every couple of months and clean it with de-greaser or varsol then put some fluid film on it...... works good 4 me.

the revo is better in roads and the t-maxx lands better when you jump.

I would disagree here, t-maxx is blocky and tips over easy when jumped but with the revo suspension it will land like a dream and if it does tumble oh look, a roll bar.

You can't honestly think that newcomers to the hobby are going to "just wait" to wait jump their trucks, per your recommendation. People aren't going to learn unless they experiment...and newsflash, not all jumps are the same. The revo in this vid took an immediate nose dive...there was no time for correction.

It took a nosedive becuase he let up on the throttle after he was airborne.

I know what you mean...i have 2 friends that went out and bought Revos soon after I had mine. They were new, and they didn't even get thru breaking in the engine before they broke thier trucks!! Now they don't drive them anymore. I guess some people just don't "get" it. They quit as soon as thier trucks broke. I wish I had a dollar for everytime one of my RC's broke.

You know, you can control how the truck flys in the air. You can do more than shoot up a ramp and pray.

simple really, throttle up to pull the nose up, brake to push the nose down.

If you have a good fast steering servo, you can even tilt the truck side to side a little.

lol, no it really is pretty simple. Been doing it since I was a kid.

beginners have a tendancy to just jam the throttle or brake in the air to try to correct their flight, for Monster trucks with bigg tires, this leads to very fast and big corrections. Until you learn to relax and use more subtle control, just wait.

Do your correction right before the truck is about to land. You can get a Revo to flip 90 degrees in a very short amount of time.

duh it was already broken in you could tell by the sound of it accelerating... before break in it has more of a bog sound to it and besides it would have had huge cloud of blue smoke commin from the pipe... the only reason it didnt work was cuz he had stripped the gears in the trani... cuz there is plastic and metal gears in it...
