An absolute delight, the children of Derek Jarman shall come forth and teem like minnows the brooks of Charing Cross and Tottenham, leap down from Dungeness and to the ocean at Cefalu. I say this because he had a knife on his desk with Nec Timeo nec Spero; also a taste in Elizabethan herb gardens, a new Jacobean at heart, and there is some fruit of these seeds spilled in this work, not to say that it isn't clear fresh and wholey original in its own right, as is every Rose.
