  • Hauntingly beautiful....

  • Thomas Newman is God of composers!

  • It's funny. When you called me I thought I was coming home to see you.

  • This is the best track before a suicide.

  • "you fucked up, you look like shit, but hey no problem. all you need is a better cut of cocaine"

  • I love this movie so much. Julian just needed an oldschool slap in the fucking face. I felt so bad for him. So bad. I remember when I saw this movie, I wanted him to make it out okay.

  • NO QUESTION - the music made this movie a CLASSIC ! in Fall of 1987 in Austin TX while in college , i saw this movie 3 times in one month. I still have the ticket stubs. The Thomas Newman score was so amazing i bought the LP. DAMN IT, didn't have this music on it. So i recorded it with a cassette player in the theater ! ha ha. I still have that cassette tape and that music and the sound of hot buttered popcorn being consumed while i teared up for JULIAN ! :)

  • I love the scene where Clay comes and rescues his friend Jullian at the hotel room but soon after we find out it's all too late. I love this film.

  • Blair: "You look good."

Clay: "Thought you said I look pale."

    Blair: "Pale and...good."

Clay: "Santa's gonna but a suntan in my stocking"

  • Yep! I got my bootleg 2 years ago. Not from that link though. This score is haunting...and to think Thomas Newman didn't like it--that's why it was never released.

  • "who is going to take care of you when I am gone??"

    FUCKING JULIAN, saved my life!!!!

Thank you Robert for that powerful performance

  • this movie came out the same year That i lost My Brother To a Drug Over Dose

Hearing It Again And Over Again ....I Never Forget My Loss To Drugs Nor Will I Forget

the High Price My Brother Paid Not Just For The Drugs He Paid With His Life!

  • Less Then Zero remind me of my growing up in Newport Bch California in the early 80's. This was my time though the drugs did not come into my life until years later. It was a 7 year battle that I finally beat.

  • I loved the book and the movie was way off...but i love the movie too. Ellis has a sequel novel coming out where the characters are middle age.

  • this movie is so sad, it made me bawl like a baby, brilliant score by the way.

  • Do you ever think about me? ALL the TIME!

  • Thanks for uploading this soundtrack!!! It's a hard find.

  • "Hello Clay..."

    :)

    I love this movie.

  • If anyone wants the songs the link to uploads are in the description part.

  • the music really makes the movie better than it actually is...one of the most underrated movie scores that i can think of

  • @RResing19 Yes!

  • @RResing19 the movie is what it is and the book is what it is and i say both with a tear in my eye. what dose that me?

  • @RResing19 I agree with you and to this day it's not avail commercially. I have idea why. It's on my cassette tapes i snuck into the movie theatre back then but that's all.

  • Beautiful

  • hauntingly beautiful, if only movies today could appreciate composers like this and integrate the music into the films. A lost art.

  • Thank God they still do...the music was composed by Thomas Newman... he and his music are more revered now than ever.

  • Clay: Just leave with me! There's no reason for you to stay. Not here, not in LA.

Julian: Jesus! Do I look like I'm ready for homework?

  • Loved it! 5/5

  • beautiful!
