I'm still trying to figure out where the fun is. It looks like a WoW clone (or whatever you prefer to play) with the same slow-assed pseudo-turn based play.

There's nothing exciting about standing in the open, shooting at enemies (also standing in the open), and waiting for you cooldown on your MEGA-WTF-SPACE-GRENADE to be up so you can hit him with it for the third time. 'cause it takes 3 of those to bring him down. While he's standing in the open. With no cover. Or helmet. *boggle*

Battlefront 3 > KotOR 3 > Republic Commando 2 > TIE Fighter/X-Wing reboot > this. Seems to be cashing in a little too late on the MMORPG franchise...WoW is getting pretty tired. Hell, Warhammer 40K is even trying to cash on the success of Blizzard (outdoing Everquest). This gameplay will be mindless grinding based completely on "whoever has less of a life has devoted more time into their character, therefore levels overcome skill"

Give us something fresh. Not God of War w/ lightsabers, either.

@Alenthas I was throwing out only a few examples of games Lucasarts could be throwing money into...much less an actually ORIGINAL game, but if it has to be Star Wars, I guess this could suffice. This game looks like rubbish. The characters look lifeless, you and Sith will be trading shots off one another until the other falls down. This game might last a year

No, they HAD the rights until EA bought them.

Lucasarts gave freeradical the rights to make the game, but after very little progress they stripped them of it.

Now no one has the rights to make battlefront games except rebellion (for handheld consoles).

Now Lucasarts is just idling around not giving the rights for anyone to make BF3!!!!

They gave pandemic the rights for the first 2 battlefronts, and freeradical the rights to make battlefront 3 but later took them away.

pandemic made the game. Game development doesn't just work on who has the rights. If they gave someone else the rights for BF3 then the game would not be the same and would probably end up a disappointment. Anyways, this is Bioware. They made KOTOR, which is considered a classic moreso than battlefront, and they made mass effect. A KOTOR MMO is much better than some shitty console game.
