This man was anything BUT a "stereotypical absent father," and what an insult to this man who presented himself very well and articulately--EVEN THO English is not his first language, and did not deserve that comment or anything else they did (and did NOT) to him. What it the legalese for "Full of Shit, because the Lawyer here and his helper are that to be sure. Is it a case of we accept your deposit but cannot do more work for you until you pay us again?
In many ways it is a very good job the Spanish man has brought this case to JJ. If he had said this as a story JJ may not have believed him, because it is so outrageous.
Karma will always get you in the end. The defendant went to the lawyer for help and he did nothing then tried to charge him for doing just that. A good lawyer will go the extra mile for you. whether you pay them for it or not.....
Judge Judy just loves to berate other lawyers who don't do there job, she was well known for that in her family court days. It's her opportunity to high horse and say to them, "I STUDIED law in college, not party and inhale bags of gas like you all did".

The Defendant seems to be a stand up guy. Very, VERY few men, no matter what race they are will do what he did to get visitation with his child. Some of these women think that they can make the rules as they go, and that they can just run roughshod over a man.

Why does the paralegal always turn her head to her right when she speaks?
At first I thought maybe she's deaf in her right ear, but usually people who are deaf in one ear turn their head to the side when someone speaks to them - and when they speak, they look straight ahead at the person they're speaking to.
The paralegal does the exact opposite - she turns her head only when she speaks, and she looks straight ahead as Judge Judy speaks to her. I've never seen someone do that before.

@HA1290 That's what some people would call "retributive justice" or even karma. Eventually if you treat other people with disrespect, do not value them, or harm them in some way (especially if they are in a position of authority or important service) they will eventually "get theirs" in the end. Ok so this gentleman hires their office to represent him in a visitation case of his daughter. Shortly after he gets served papers to appear in court to deal with the matter of child support for the same daughter. Even though it is technically a seperate matter it still involves all the same facts, and people. If Aragon would of represented him in the support case it would cut down the fact finding time of the visitation case down from a couple weeks to a couple hours. WHAT A BUG-EYED MORON!
The one thing that sent me into a fit after all of the previous stuff was her mis-speak at 9:02, dunno why, but that was the tipping point of laughter for me.

She says in her blog that her brother Daniel had gone to Tijuana for the weekend and had "apparently fallen down and hit his head and died from the injury"

Why does the paralegal always turn her head to her right when she speaks?
At first I thought maybe she's deaf in her right ear, but usually people who are deaf in one ear turn their head to the side when someone speaks to them - and when they speak, they look straight ahead at the person they're speaking to.
The paralegal does the exact opposite - she turns her head only when she speaks, and she looks straight ahead as Judge Judy speaks to her. I've never seen someone do that before.

Eventually if you treat other people with disrespect, do not value them, or harm them in some way (especially if they are in a position of authority or important service) they will eventually "get theirs" in the end. Ok so this gentleman hires their office to represent him in a visitation case of his daughter. Shortly after he gets served papers to appear in court to deal with the matter of child support for the same daughter. Even though it is technically a seperate matter it still involves all the same facts, and people. If Aragon would of represented him in the support case it would cut down the fact finding time of the visitation case down from a couple weeks to a couple hours. WHAT A BUG-EYED MORON!
