@Dudemag Lmao, had asgard shields... the Asgard refused any/every request for weapons, and a special exception was made in StarGate Atlantis to allow beaming of nuclear technology, and that was since "his little naked ass is in just as much trouble as ours" (Shepherd to McKay about the on-board Agard). Anyway, only thing they had the advantage of were the shields and engines (and even their engines weren't Asgard's best.) Soo... to recap - The Taur'i used their best weapon tech for space. it pwn

The Prometheus was the best looking ship i think seeing that it actually looked like a command ship. The daedalus is a great looking ship but the Prometheus was the best of the bunch because the design was just so cool looking.

It was a great idea to take the Enterprise title song for this Prometheus video. I've never heard the long version of this song. The successor of the X-303, the X-304 is also a fantastic ship build by humans with assgard technology. Well done.

Eine Sache versteh ich nicht bei der Prometheus.

Scheut mal genau hin.

Die F-302er kommen ja aus deisem "Flügel" an der Seite aber diese "Flügel" ist eigentlich der Hyperantrieb.

Wenn man genau auf das achtet merkt man das wenn die Prometheus im Hyperraum ist das dann der "Flügel" vorne un hinten leuchtet

Are you talking about the drone weapons fire from the surface of the planet?

If so they are are part of an ancient defence system, where missile like weapons which are controlled by the ancient chair to destroy enemy targets. It is from the episode the lost city part 2 which is in season 7 of SG-1.

I wonder if the Russians ever built one with the plans provided to them when the US had to "rent" their gate because Anubis destroyed theirs. Though those plans were given before Asgard tech was installed into prometheus, including a hyperdrive. I don't think the original Earth made design using Naquadria ever worked.

nah they never did, probably cuz its an outdated model and the Daedalus class is alot more efficient the the Prometheus Class...never the less it was a great ship and it will be missed by all

Still, could be brought back as a support ship to the 304's. Under the Antarctic Treaty all new tech had to be shared with the treaty participants so the Russians and the UK would have full access to the Asgard Intergalactics, problem is the cost in building the stuff!!!

yea building prometheus class would be expensive so i think that they would rather choose to use the money on the daedalus class

Also not forgetting that the 303 has a few advatages over the 304 eg it has a faster sublight drive (59%C over the 304's best at 50%), it is more manouverable as seen in "Grace" and it is only 1/2 the size of the 304 (I think its 196 meters'ish while the 304 would be around 400-twice the fighters and the windows gives that away) which means 2 303's for every 304 built. The Taur'i need a bigger fleet!!!!!

yea but the 304 has stronger shields, faster hyper drive, and it uses the alien technologies with much more efficiently that the 303 because they were built into it unlike the 303 which had them installed after construction

Actually the final hyperdrive that the 303 had was the same one the 304 currently has. The Season 9 episode where loads of SG-1's turn up there was a scene where its was explained where it would take 3 weeks for Prometheus to get to Atlantis. Your other points are true though, my point is couldn't the 303 be re-introduced as a light cruiser or frigate to support the 304's??? I'm also pretty sure that the Prommie could dodge most if not all the weapons fire from an Ori ship!

I mean the main cannons not the little blue ones. Another thing the 303 has is the main doors, when landed in "Prometheus Unbound" Jackson came out of a big ramp on the ships underside-perhaps a Tank bay??? Its between the 302 bays on the underside
