  • I LOVE how after starring in so many "little" British films, he found mark for American audiences as Darth Vader's boss (tarkin) in "star wars"!

I love when he pointed his finger up while walking and describing something. that's sinister.

  • I love Christopher Lee and I know he was devastated when Peter died !

  • Hands down, the finest english actor to have ever graced gods green earth. One of the most diversely talented actors in history, Cushing carved out a legacy that will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.

  • Peter Cushing was the best british actor ever

  • @92af

    yes, he was great!

  • I agree it's a silly mistake to make, though the Cushing / Mills pairing in the later film is very similar to the Cushing / Morrel one in Hound - you actually believe it's the same version of the characters only years later.

  • Sir John Mills ??? Thats Andre Morrel from Plague of the Zombies and Mummys Shroud.

It should be Doctor Van Helsing not professor.

    Poor research really.

  • Yes, and the Sherlock Holmes clip, supposedly from the BBC, is from Hammer's The Hound of the Baskervilles.

  • Mills of course did play Watson oposite Cushing's Holmes in The Masks of Death.

  • I didn't realise that. However the clip gives the impression that Mills is sat next to him. Which, as we know, he isn't.

  • @punditpete

    correct!

Sir John Mills (the man in the interview) HAS been playing Dr Watson alongside Peter Cushing- but that was NOT in the "hound of the Baskervilles".
