the last minute, the "in dreams" sequence...so fucking beautiful. the screaming puts so much passion into the words, gives it an entirely different meaning rather than if it was all clean. with the guitar in the background, it's so amazing i can't even define.

this is exactly what every metal band should be doing...writing amazing lyrics, injecting passion, and even throwing a little badass in there.

these guys are refining metal and giving it a new meaning. not all these labels people put on it, this band in particular. i dont think you can classify this album anything but amazing. I've seen so many people that arent even into metal, or heavier music, find melody and meaning in it. these songs couldnt have been constructed any other way. they went above and beyond what it means to just write music.

@slinger3456 well i somewhat agree, but i really cant blame them. they just made a very important metalcore album (i say important because it really is different from the rest) i do think their first album was their best, but this album was just so unique as far as metalcore goes i think its kind of necessary to do so, as they slowly and carefully write and record yet another masterpiece

@ckreticeland Yep, something it took me a while to understand, is bands needs to evolve. But usually i like their first album, because i'm blown away by the style i never heard before. i'll always remember the day my friend sent me by Instant messenger "the year summer ended in june" and i was thinking "WoW who the fuck are these guys" and a 2nd album from the same band will never blow you away as much because you've already heard their style. My only exception is probably constellation from ABR

Sorry to disappoint you, but Live, he cant sing that well. I've seen them 3 times, twice, he fed me the mic for the cleans. Screaming on the other hand, best in the world, hands down.

I agree he is truly amazing. I can understand EVERY SINGLE word he says, singing or screaming.

The rest of the musicians or so outstanding as well, this album is probably one of the best I have heard, and I am nowhere near a fanboy.
