This review is very incorrect. The product displayed here only has 1 subwoofer (5.25 inch) and one passive speaker to enhance the bass, not 2 subwoofers. The review also incorrectly states that the remote is a bottle opener.. this is not the case. The remote has a clip made of PLASTIC to attach to a belt buckle. It is NOT a bottle opener, the plastic will snap if you try to open bottles with it. Please try and be accurate within your reviews.

The Altec Lansing imt800 has one 5.25 subwoofer and a pssive 5.25 speaker to help tune the bass. Not two subwoofers. These realatively small units need a passive speaker to help give more bass pressence. Please be more accurate in your next review.

if you want something bassy for hardstyle get a Logitech Z-2300 or somthing the bass is very loud

Judging by the fact that he turned the volume to nearly max and he could talk over it, I'm assuming the level wasn't turned up high on the ipod. It should be pretty damn loud with 80 watts going to it!!

Erm they are played through a wall power socket. You can put in 8 size D batteries though and if they are good brand batteries then the speakers will last upto 30 hours. I don't know if you can buy rechargable size D batteries though, probably can. Why, you thinking of buying them?
