I just realized who Malcolm reminds me of. There's a New Zealand comic strip called Footrot Flats (Google it if you've never heard of it) and one of the characters is a black and white cat named Horse. The black and white pattern on Malcolm makes him look like the character.

I had a crazy day on the road too. This morning a rented panel truck just decided to come to a stop on the highway right in front of me, while traffic was whizzing by at 70 mph. It was all I could do to merge into the next lane and stomp on the gas to prevent getting rear ended and possibly killed. Thank goodness there were courteous drivers also who managed to give me the room I need to stay alive. Especially the tractor trailer who pulled way over to give me room.
