@trichomepanther i got this along with prince of persia on a twenty dollar gift card at EBgames. PoP is good, offers no challenge, LAIR is epic, offers too much challenge. which is a good thing, cause these days, games are too damn easy (except for demons souls-brutal), and i think thats why this game got such bad reviews, its becasue its actually challenging, and not just becasue of the controls, although they get a bit tangly sometimes, but because it presents a certain sense of difficulty.

I don't get why people see this game as bad. I mean, the graphics are amazing and in this video I don't see any problem with the controls. I don't know why reviewers focused on the controls and gave this game a bad rating - This looks awesome!

Plus, I guess they were still pessimistic on this game even with the updated patch... And the controls are just merely something new, right? It's not like everyone could get used to it in a snap. Maybe that's why they gave it a bad rating. :P

@Revolvre Controls are the only thing that give it a fault. When you move forward you have to wait til the dragon is stopped to dive forward again. And it takes so much time to turn. But all in all I give it a 4.5

The whole game is open AkatsukiWolf: you can go anywhere within your 32 mile X 32 mile boards that I know of except in one instance were you get injured if you fly too high.

Let me get this straight: This game got no higher than 5/10 from pretty much every reviewer because of controlles that take some getting used to? I checked, they praised everything else, but apparently not being used to the controlles drops the games final score by half... That's messed up.

This game even looks kinda fun as well, too bad I don't own a PS3.

i totally agree with you!! :D and it is pretty fun once you get used to it. the new patch with 2 new dragons and analog controls helps out a lot too. if you get a ps3 at least try it out or rent it :)

yep most (just about all) of the game is fighting on a dragon or a cut scene, but while fighting on the dragon there are a few times where you go in to "burst" or "burn mode" (forgot the name) and you then some times jump off your dragon and land on theirs and fight the other dragon's rider (these animations are as far i know random so you may get a different take down sequence)

Dante, the game's good. A bit hard to control at first (I've had it 2 days now) and some of the missions will take around 6 million attempts, but it's great gameplay and really fun to toast there armies >=) You can fight on land or in the air =P

use your rage when behind and you have to hit roughly at a 45 degree angle to knock a few of it's scales off. do enough damage and you will enter the second battle phase which requires dodging its venom and then attacking with on screen function controls. took me a few times but made it eventually, just got to be patient
