actually he did because if u watched the whole interview with Steven Adler on Howard Stern in March '09, he said that it was hypocritical when they kicked him out for drugs because all of the other members were doing more drugs than he was.

and in his book slash admitted the same thing, only he was talking about himself, izzy (even though he had cleaned up by then), duffs drinking and matt doing a little bit of everything. also in slashs book he always said that axl never partied with them to the extreme like they always did, but he did do the occasional drug or drink a lot. axl also claimed that he could never have a drug habit in interviews, as well as made slash apologize for being a druggy onstage!
