  • Helpful video for beginning Hypnotists Richard.

  • Interesting. Never thought about all that goes into equipping an office for this particular application.

  • If you are a good hypnotist you do not need any electronic equipment but your own voice. Your over complicating hypnosis with to much stuff (junk) & candy. Keep your office professional and you will be accepted as a professional.

  • Trust me, I'm a good hypnotist. Google me. Anyway, there is no electric "junk" in my office. There IS essentially a stereo set up that allows my clients to be comfortable and immersed in the expereince. Sure I can hypnotize anyone without it, but why? If I can give them a first class vs. coach experience why would I not do that? Just to prove to some other hypnotist I can hypnotize with noise in the background? I have already done that - see my clips of me performing in Vegas

  • Just because your on the internet selling every thing under the sun does not mean your a good hypnotist. Do 500+ clients a years with a 98% success rate and then that will tellme if your good.

  • Dude, I have been seeing clients since 1990 - that is 20 years; and thousands of people have watched me do sessions as part of teaching and training. Trust me, I'm good. And it is a BETTER experience for the client with headphones.

  • @1thatisilluminated....Richard Nongard is a brilliant hypnotist. Just because he sells products does not make him a "bad hypnotist." But just out of curiosity, I know you have said you see 500+ clients a year, but that would be mean that you only see about 1 client a day. Which is odd, because I have been a hypnotherapist for 2 years and am still learning. However, I see roughly 5 clients a day. And I contribute much of my success to these Youtube videos.

  • @midwesthypnosis 5 a day? Good for you!

  • You put tons of dedication, thought, and consideration into your job and videos , so professional, love your vids!

  • Thank-you, I am glad they have been valuable to you

  • Haha ya right. So professional thats' wh he's sellin gthis for 49 or 59$

    Get real fucktard.

  • How does that make sense?

  • @thedarkallies

Did you pay 49 or 59 dollars to view this video, or any other of his youtube videos? If you did, then I must inform you that you have failed to grasp the idea of youtube being free.

If you don't get the "professional" part, browse through more free hypnosis videos on youtube. I have found many of Nongard's to be among the most professional in terms of presentation and preparation.

  • You are very smart. You are thinking of other things as you are saying things and thinking of what body expression to make; not something everyone can do.

But still can read from your voice.

  • All of your videos are superb. Thank you for your contribution to the professional circle of therapist.

  • Thank-you! Believe it or not, some of the hypnosis "organizations" really hate me "giving away secrets" on you tube. But my theory is the internet is the future of hypnosis education, and the more I give away for free, the more successsful I am. Thank-you YOUTUBERS for making this a very good forum for the education of hypnosis professionals

  • Hi Richard, maybe you'd like to tell us which hypnosis organisations hate you.

You said some of them hate you, is it not?

  • You're making me want iced tea

  • Stop by the offiec anytime, we always have some! :)

  • So professional (audio as well0 and with so many good tips - scripts, putting client at ease, etc. You do great work.

  • im glad i watched and listened to this video , and all your other ones also .you do a good job of explaining , and you have convinced me (or hypnotized me :) , into wanting to use my skills to further this into a career ,i have been in the medical profession previously . my problem is that i would like to know that im actually guiding the client into trance ,any suggestions on how to practice the art of positive phrases and reading body language, post and pre hypnotic sessions

  • Your videos are great! keep up the good work:D

  • Do you have any adivse on self hypnosis ? I appreciate your videos. I worked with hypnosis about 7 years ago and I still remember the "direct eye gaze" method and this bing very effective, but do you have any techniques for self hypnosis. thank you for your help and videos

  • Do you use any airfreshner, or some kind of scent to create an atmosphere?

  • no people tend to be allergic to them

  • you know, after reading several of kevin tredeau natural cure books he states that most people have 20# or more of fecal material in the intestines/colon. for your overweight clients, have you ever tried to get their bodies to flush out or purge their digestinal tract as a preliminary step to weight loss? you could show your clients a good 20# loss within the first visit if this would work correctly.

what do you think? could be messy if the timing is off. :(

  • I think it is untrue that we have 20 lbs. of 20 year old corn chips in the colon.... There is only one formula for weight loss, expend more energy than consumed. Hypnosis can help someone act on this truth. Purging just screws up electolites and leaves people disappointed.

  • im not so sure. in my experience i have seen things "ejected" that resembled gobbles of black gum/tar. i myself am in relatively good shape and i expelled a 3 inch tapeworm and a whole mess of tar type substance. now, i am even more slender, no stomach tension, no beer belly effects, and i feel great.

the key about the electrolytes is simply that, make sure you injest plenty before you start. flush only as a starting point for some immediate observable results, not a substitute for exercise

  • During a normal colonoscopy, the bowels are cleaned without tar, green gel etc appearing, and healthy pink bowels, even in overweight patients, are clearly visible.

Unfortunately, several of the fasting 'cleanses' available, are actually made up of powders that coalesce into a - you guessed it, green gel.

  • *warning - grossout*

But worse, some of the gels actually cause internal damage, stripping internal skin, or causing bleeding.

I hate to freak you out, the black tar like substance was probably blood. That's how it coagulates after internal bleeding, it's known as Melena.

  • that doesnt explain why it would only happen one time during a 90 day cycle. i also found a 3 inch tape worm, many ring type looking worms, and other un-identifiables.

i considered myself health and i didnt consider myself overweight as i work out regularly, but i still lost 10 pounds. four years later the weight is still gone, no strange pressures/pains in the abdomen, and much easier abdominal movements. (both bowel and excersize)

  • hi richard, what type of intake paperwork do you use? and how and when do you process payments?

  • I use a few things, all described in the ICBCH course (Just google ICBCH) which has all forms, etc. I get payment upfront. My plan is to make some videos in the next month or so showing complete start to finish including intake.... Just gotta find time and a willing client

  • so you speak your sessions to the client with through the headphones? and you run the binural beats at the same time or pre/post hypnosis?

  • yes, i speak my sessions through the microphone, and start music and binarual beats when i start the induction

  • so then i would presume that you generally use slow inductions on clients instead of fast?

(thanks for the fast response btw)

  • In my office for clinical hypnosis, I generally do long inductions. Induction itself teaches skills and is therapeutic.

  • again, i appreciate your quick responses.

    great videos (now a subscriber)

  • Hi Richard. Thanks for the excellent suggestions.

  • Great video Richard. This would also be good to show clients maybe on a website or something as this preview and explaination puts people at ease.

  • I have a similar video up on my website for clients, I think any good website would embed a video of the professional offices they will be coming to. Goes a looong way at helping clients feel at ease.

  • This is Josh

Thanks for the tour of the office. You gave me a few ideas for my office.

  • I found this quite interesting.
