This is the best famitracker song on youtube. I'm trying to use famitracker but having troubles writing a song. I need to because i entered a game making contest, the game is already done but the music isn't and i need to have original music in it or it will be rejected. I have no problem using the program (aside from the DPCM, i have nothing to import) it's just i can't seem to make a good song lol.

create new instrument, double click it, go to "DPCM samples", "import" a .wav file, then select a note, select the sample you just imported and finally click the "<-" and the sample will be assigned to the selected note... hope this helps

Sorry to ask questions like an idiot here, but I have been trying my hand at famitracker, and when I change one frame all the other frames change and they remain the same... How do I fix this?

Don't know if I understand correctly, but one frame uses 5 tracks. While frame 1 might be "01 02 03 04 05", frame 2 might be "06 02 03 04 05". Amlost identical, except track 1 uses another one for track 1 than frame 2. Make sense?

Yes, but when I add a frame, if I edit one frame, the other edits itself to become the same as the frame I just edited.

For example:

If I make frame one "01 02 03 04 05"

And I make frame two "01 02 03 04 06"

Then frame one becomes "01 02 03 04 06."

from here you can export it to a wav, not an mp3 sorry dude,
