I called others weaks too for complaining.....then on the last day, some freinds took me out for the last meal. From 2:18 to end, they called "Ba'nh Du*`a" or ... Ba'nh coconut... contains: sweet rice + red bean + either banana or green bean in center, then boild them. The reason why people called ba'nh du*`a because... those were wrapped by coconut leaves. :-) (I am guessing). They were great!!! I loved it.

You must have a death wish. Recently, a Japanese woman lost her baby after visiting Vietnam on vacation. The doctors found high levels of Dioxin in her and her baby's blood. She thought by visiting the North she would avoid Dioxin in the food. She was wrong. Dioxin in Vietnam is endemic throughout the Vietnamese food chain, fish, pork, ducks, chickens and rice products. Vietnam government knows that Dioxin is a product of low quality coal combustion, it is widely used for cooking food.

The EPA has looked into Dioxin, it has grown exponentially in food chains all over the world. Vietnam though is especially rife with Dioxin. Dioxin occurs in low quality coal combustion. Vietnam uses vast amounts of this coal for cooking, heating and electric production. It is produced in many smelting processes such as copper, aluminum, steel, in Vietnam all these use low grade coal which increases Dioxin production. Dioxin resides in fatty tissues and concentrates up the food chain as in VN.

Vietnam dioxin comes from low quality coal produced in VN along with Furans in electrical production and smelting. Read UN investigation. That is why their law suit never went anywhere. VN science was wrong. Vietnamese said that dioxin was water contaminated when it is only conveyed by fat molecules. Dioxin is intensified in Vietnamese food chain because Vietnamese use human wastes for food production hence intensified in human beings.
Agent Orange does not have dioxin as an ingrediant.

Dioxin is extremely stable. It will stay in Vietnam's environment for a1,000 years or more. Especially since Vietnam's farming, animal husbandry preactices keep Dioxin within the food chain. No Saigondj, u got it wrong, that rice cake is a sweet taste, it got black bean,sticky rice,coconut,banana(it looks purple) and it wrapped with young coconut leaves. The fruit she had early it's called Jackfruit, not durian. Well, when I was a little kids I love to try those stuffs, and I love 'em. I can't eat like her on the street like that, I got food posion once, on my pervious trip back to VN. Well, good to u all.

my VN trip lasted 3 months, i ate everything in the street, nothing happened. so i thought I'm invicible to food poisoining. I called others weaks too for complaining.....then on the last day, some freinds took me out for the last meal. After i got on the plane, I couldn't stop going to shit every 5mintues and this lasted for 2 days. Maybe it has not happend to you YET. Bue keepit up it will get ya.
