the truth is : Warhammer IS very similar when it comes to graphic/fighting and UI style which is why its going to be very stable. Warhammer is not a copy of WoW when it comes to races since Warhammer has been around since the 80s, so that theory goes down the drain. The game mechanics in Warhammer is way more complexed than just BGing and Raiding like in WoW. You have guild keeps, sieges, cannons you can take control of. This is like WoW with everything you wanted in it. Thats why its succesful.

I've played beta, when I played about a month ago it wasnt into the keeps or the guild aspect of it yet, just all around zerg vs zerg as you said which is really what beta is all about. I would say however that this game would not get any more boring that the repetitive gameplay of WoW pvp. And I'm sure Warhammer PvE is just as fun as WoW pvp only you are working together not just for yourselfs, but for a greater cause.. the war efforts in RvR.
I never make a big judgement about things until I actually try the full game for awhile and get into it. It sounds and from what I've played in beta it seems to be very stable and solid game with good gameplay. But I can't tell you if I like it or not if I havn't played the retail version yet.

More like time constraints. Since EA bought Mythic, they've had all the money they need. EA insisted that WAR be brought out before WotLK as Mythic originally planned for an Xmas release. Releasing it early caught Blizzard off guard and hence their knee-jerk patch that they're bring out now to try and control the damage that WAR will do to their player base.
Played WoW for three years and had fun, if this is WoW 2.0 I am going to play it! I hope it has a bit more challenge than WoW provided, with the RvR features it looks like it might just have it. I liked WoW for PvE I just hope Mythic can deliver on its promises for RvR.

Theres a really long story actually, one that if explained on youtube would expand to around 60 comment boxes. However, unlike WoW, WAR in the game goes along with the story and everything you do ties into that story and quests aren't just for leveling up
This game *is not* WoW 2.0. If anything it's Dark Age of Camelot 2.0, as it's made by the same developers and uses refined versions of similar mechanics to DAoC(which also came out long before WoW ever did.) Comparing this game to WoW outside of Graphics is like night and day...
WoW stole from Everquest, expanded on it. WAR steals from WoW, and expands on it. Also, Warcraft blatantly ripped off Warhammer's lore and backstory long before WoW even came out.
Wrong. WoW is everquest/ultima/warhammer rip-off. Warhammer took standard MMO ideas that all good MMOs have shared, you're just a new, young, fanboy who has only played WoW. Go go gadget fan boy, right?

WoW stole from Everquest, expanded on it. WAR steals from WoW, and expands on it. Also, Warcraft blatantly ripped off Warhammer's lore and backstory long before WoW even came out.

Sounds to me like it was open beta and you have to wait till friday for that anyway. That is the general problem at the moment they haven't activated ob accounts.

Because before World of Warcraft, which isn't exactly as original as you think it is, came Everquest and Dark Age of Camelot. If you did even the slightest research into the game, you would know that back in the day, World of Warcraft was "Everquest 2" and everyone thought it was going to be another clone.
