I love the little bits in the trailer that aren't in the film, like the tearing of the card or the way it pans in on Craig at the end. Yep, really wish I could rewind time to the first viewing of this trailer, lol.

This is a good movie, story and all.. but wrong guy to play the role. Ewan McGregor would've torn the screen up. Sean Connery wanted Ewan to be the next bond, same went for the director of this movie and Goldeneye.

@mayhem9024 Well, I liked Sean Connery, and Peirce Bronsan and pretty much all the other bonds. And Craig wasn't necessarily picked, they just went on ahead and gave it to him after Ewan turned it down.

And another thing, thats your opinion on the books...not everyone refers to the books, or in hollywood at least.

@Wathen8925 Actually no they didn't it was between him and three other actor's one of which was sam worthington they even wanted a black bond for awhile so that null's everything you've been saying.

@mayhem9024 Um, actually it was offered to Ewan in the first place which he turned it down. And sam worthington wasn't one of the choices. But Bronsan did recommend collin farrell for the role. and they didn't say they were wanting a black bond, that would just really stretch out james bond way too far...which most of the bond movies have gone down in the past years.

@mayhem9024 And i'll give you an example. I do like to play video games. And I loved both of the Max Payne games, excellent characters..plot and so on.

But when they made a movie out of it, for one..Mark Wahlberg, in my opinion, didn't fit the role of Max Payne. And secondly, the director did a crappy ass job doing the movie, and pretty much ruined it.

@Wathen8925 Mark whaulberg was pretty badass i felt or his character the movie was cool if you ask me not an accurate adaption but all the same a great film and he added something to it i was missing from the games.

@mayhem9024 And the Max Games were pretty badass, but the movie was a failure, especially adding the demon hallucinations of Valkyr, which was totally off course from the actual games, story and plot.

The action was pretty slow and dull except for the one office shootout scene. But the mood and setting was alright though.

Thats one of the reasons why hollywood shouldn't produce movies from the games, because they just screw it all up.

Ewan McGregor was going to be the next Bond, but he turned it down for some reason and they gave it to Daniel Craig. Ewan would've been a hell of a lot better bond than Daniel Craig, but Daniel is okay though. I like the Casino Royale story pretty well. And Pierce Bronson was a good James Bond as well, In my opinion, better than Daniel Craig.

I have to disagree with you in every way! I would not have liked Ewan as Bond, though i do like him. I couldn't bare Brosnan. Connery was the best Bond for me and I think Craig, is doing a stellar job. Just my opinion...

And I don't think thats necessarily true, how Peirce has had some of the worst bond film's. And on Daniel Craig, from your point of view or opinion, him being the best Bond, you might want to give that a second thought, when Casino Roale came out, there was a lot of bad mouthing about him, saying he wasn't that great.

@mayhem9024 The director of Goldeneye and Casino Royale, Martin Campell, personally offered the role to Ewan. And after Daniel was chosen, Campell, said he wasn't 100% conviced that Daniel should be the next Bond. And as everyone says, Sean Connery has been the next bond, well Connery wanted Ewan to be the next bond. And as for Craig, alot of the 007 fans said that Craig was 'too soft' because of his fear for heights, and a injury during a fight scene.

Quantum was okay, but it was all over the place and felt like a bunch of rushed action sequences. Casino had a MUCH better flow and story.  I hope the next film is just as good as Casino was.

Actually I love all Bond movies. Casino Royale wasn't #1 Bond movie but still great. Daniel Craig looks great as Agent 007. Eva Green (Vesper Lynd) was beautiful but very weak at the same time. Her character should have been much stronger. Mads Mikkelsen was great as well.
