The best bet is to have good people around you and just look forward. I know this sounds lame and a fit form and function answer, but its what helped me. And one best friend is good! Talk to him/her about this, and they might help. Also try to push yourself out of your comfort zone and smile and say hi to those around you. Hope this helps. :)

It's annoying when you get little kids trash talking as you know they are too young to play the game and that they most the time don't know when to stop.

Very rarely have I seen anyone over the age of 16 trash talking.

I only Trash talk back to people that are trash talking others as they should be able to take what they give out, but I leave the regular gamer that is playing and having a chat with the people in the lobby because they are the kinda people I believe there should be more of in the gaming community

The thing that happened to me was that I played Reach with a group of guys who were in a party, I jokingly t-bagged my teammate because he blindly ran into the enemy's line of fire and through that actually got him to the objective. I come to find out that all 5 of those guys gave me bad rep on my Gamertag. I was just in shock since first off, they sucked, and still had the audacity to give my bad rep.
