Second, when a criminal invades someones home, there is no way of knowing just what that criminal is there for, or what lengths he will go to, to get what he wants. That alone, is more than enough reason to use deadly force. Third, in our overly litigious society, just wounding a criminal scumbag, leaves the victim of HIS crime, open for a lawsuit.

Some people's idea of self defense (I'm looking at you religious right wingers) is completely fucked up. Shooting someone dead for attempting to take some of your possessions is wrong... which isn't to say stealing is a-okay... it's just saying murder is perhaps a bit worse.

Also, if someone hits you, putting your hands on either side of their head and twisting it until their neck goes *snap* is unacceptable. Self defense isn't a license to kill... just defend. I wish they'd understand that.

If you're a burglar and you're in a situation where you have to use a weapon then you've already failed. It wasn't so much that Kassie has a gun and wants to use it for self defense, it's that "I WILL KILL HIM" attitude that I find contradictory to "You can't even kill sperm!" argument.

@thelastholdout not sure. It looks low cal to me, perhaps 22 or 380 at most. I own many guns but not overly knowledgeable on those I don't own. I will say her swinging those guns around indoors and having her finger on the trigger even if unloaded is demonstrating very poor firearm safety and respect for the lethality of the weapons.

I don't own many guns, although I may eventually buy one (or two at most) for self defense (only in the most extreme circumstances) and hunting (if ever I need to.) You're right that Kassie has shown herself in the video to be extremely irresponsible and exactly the kind of person who doesn't deserve to own a firearm.
