That's too bad it didn't sound. Does Kenosha have any Thunderbolts? Somebody posted on the Thunderbolt siren page on Wikipedia that there were some.

There is a Thunderbolt 1003 at one of the Pleasant Prairie FDs.

Even though it didn't go off, it's still pretty cool to hear the others. We have one dual tone Banshee here that works. Hope they can fix this one and not replace it!

Chances are its getting replaced. I called the EMA offices about an hour after the test, and they told me it was going to be replaced. It will most likely get replaced with a P-15 / RM-127.

Great system recording, too bad the Banshee didn't go off! Were those P15/RM127s or single tone Banshees in the background?

The sirens are P-15s. This is the only Banshee that I know of in the siren system.

The siren you heard i the background has to be a single tone Banshee. Its tone did not increase or decrease throughout the entire running cycle. It stayed the same. The only it could be a P-15 is if it has a broken rotator.

Your right. I just noticed that. It seems to stay at one volume instead of getting louder and softer.
