Woods reminds me of my third grade teacher in this scene. He was South African, unpredictable and utterly terrifying. Especially when he says "Ace-sssssssss". His eyes would do that dark, dead thing too. I'm 38 and still remember this guy.

The best part is, when the cops surround Stallones garage and everything goes up. Woods enters and makes jokes about it, like telling the policemen on the loudspeakers "to cut the bullshit", "wow Ray that´s NEW", "yeah yeah yeah, blah blah blah, or "i taught him that". Most hillarious scene of the movie.

When he makes a sophisticaded bomb out of a pen pretending not to know anything about explosives is matchless!
@blueplague888 yeah James Woods is so crazy as hell in this movie especially the part where they are tracing Ray's (Stallone) call at the telephone booth. i never seen him go beserk in a long time. :P
Man, I don't care how crazy he can be, or how smart he is....he's still got a hot body and that's all I like about him!

james woods is awesome one of my favorite actors of all time and hes even more badass since he was in san andreas.
this scene makes me wish james woods played the joker in the 1989 batman.

Holy mother of...
Everytime I show this movie to my folks and we watch this scene we all end up saying the same thing: this guy is LOONEY TUNES!
And that's what makes James' character so fun to watch in this.
