  • Are we supposed to be impressed?

  • he looks creepy. Could use a shave.

  • @crazydodgergirl I think you need to shave your stache too....

  • @lotrguy007 YAH I KNOW JUST GOT A LITTLE CONFUSED!!! :) SORRY LATE REPLY! :)

  • that is so AWSOME!!! where those 18th notes? is the pocket trumpet have the same notes like a regular trumpet because im thinking about getting one.NICE PLAYING!!!! :D

  • Thank you lots. Read my replies below and I talk about the pocket tumpet. (No difference;harder to clean.)

  • There's no such thing as an 18th note.

  • @FR3DY131 they sound pretty much the same, it might be a little bit harder to hit the high notes

    nice double tongueing tho!

  • Wow, in combo with that camera, you get a pretty cool sound. Haha, nice playing!

  • Thanks. That was three years ago; I've improved.

  • holy crap you are at slamon river in ct thats right i knoww where you are!!!!!

  • Really nice bluesy licks. What brand of pocket trumpet do you have? The only ones I can seem to find are the off-brand, Asian ones, such as they have on eBay.

  • My pocket trumpet is made by E.M. Winston of Boston, MA. Don't waste your time on cheap imitations. I think most brand names (Yamaha, Bach, Selmer, Getzen, etc.) have pocket trumpets in thier inventory. Look around and compare.

  • The only difference is the size; sound production and mouthpiece are the same as a regular sized trumpet. The pocket trumpet is more difficult too clean, though.

Unless you have a specific reason, I'd say go with a regular size trumpet, being it's more accepted in bands, and add one to your invertory at a later time, if you still want.. KA

  • I have a question im wanting a trumpet for my b day I just found out I can realy play a trumpet at my school band class but im not sure if I should get the plan trumpet of the pocket trumpet are there really any differences than the size? one thang I was also wondering is the mought piece on the pocket smaller then the plan? please reply a.s.a.p and thx.

  • Not at all. Except for size, both trumpets sound the same. The size is a matter of convenience.

  • So are pocket trumpets any lower in volume than normal trumpets?

  • same.

  • Ok, now I have heard that with a pocket trumpet what would normally be a C below the staff i the C in the middle of the staff, thats not worded the best way but its all I can think about :P, Is this true that a pocket trumpet requires much more air to play than a normal trumpet? Because I want one rofl

  • A pocket trumpet is just that: a trumpet. Because of the engineering of the tubing, the pocket trumpet (not to be confused with the piccalo trumpet) is, in a sense, a regular trumpet which has been compacted to a smaller size. Other than that, there is no difference in requirments, limitations, etc. Same air, same embouchre, same training. Good luck.

  • neat instrument. i play my trumpet and french horn outside sometimes too. i think of it as playing to the birds and squirells.

  • I love the idea of playing out in the open next to nature, very cool, but why the mute? conderned about the wildlife? LOL

    all the best! :)

  • I don't want to push my luck with the neighbors. (Just one complaint and I'll be chased away - and I've been playing at the bridge for over 5 years now.)

  • Oh, man. I want one of these so bad! I am in high school band and my director said I could play it if I bought it myself. BTW. Great player ;)

  • now i'm just learning to play, but i know enough that, this was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks, and that was a year ago; chexk my new stuff.

  • what kind of pocket trumpet is that it sounds nice compared to ones i have herd before

  • it has a straight mute in it, so it has a different sound. If the mute were taken out, then it would sound just like a regular trumpet.

  • E.M. Winston od Boston,MA

  • wow great, mine is hard to play with a mute

  • Just don't give up,

  • You play awesome man, that is amazing

  • thats sounds good jazzy like =)

  • u did a fine job!

  • Thank you.

  • good job that is so cool

  • Gee, i have a pocket trumpet by the brand name Supreme, but the sounds not supreme at all, its out of tune. Great for tonguing exercises but not for playing pieces of music.

  • that might be the best pocket trumpet i have ever heard.... those things are hard to sound good

  • hay q estar colgao pa irse a tocar a un rio jajaaj

  • wow great trumpet playing wish i could do better =)

  • Is that a shi shi quiet mannie klein practice mute?

  • looks like a straight mute to me...

  • I also have a pocket trumpet. They are amazing!
