I remember hearing this poem some years ago and heard it again on the radio today, whick prompted me to look for it on YouTube. It is truly moving and speaks to the heart of people that already believe in God or are trying to make sense of the tragedy.

When you watch this, remember there were no clergy invited to attend the memorial ten years later. I have no doubt that Jesus was there on that terrible day reaching out to take those who cried out to Him for help. I know He was with me as I watched in horror when the towers fell. He is here 10 years later, saddened as our Government tries to keep His followers from participating in the memorial. Without Him, we are nothing.

I was stepping out of the shower on the west coast, 2300 miles from home, and caught a few words from the radio. I thought it was shock jocks playing a prank. Flipped on the TV for FOX NEWS and saw only 1 tower standing. A totally disorienting visual. Ended up having to drive the rental back to Houston.

I see comments like this one below from the drunk Atheist....I once heard that an Athiest took his employer to court due to his claim of not having a Holiday like the Christians have Christmas. Today I woke up expecting to hear this on the radio as I'm used to. When they didn't I wasn't surprised. People had complained about it last year. Then through out the day, I expected a lot of classroom discussions...I was wrong. Only my government and contemporary issues class brought it up. There wasn't even a two minute moment of silence for it. Then when I got home I expected there to be shows about it on TV. There were none. Can I just ask, how the HELL can you forget this?

This is just as incredible hearing this now as it was when I first heard it after the tragedy. Stacey's Mom, thank you for telling us how this awesome writing came to be. I have to pound everything out word by word except for one time - I wrote "Dusty's Story" about Rainbow Bridge and the words literally came pouring out. "Dusty's Story" was written by the hand of God, just as God wrote "Meet me in the Stairwell" through your daughter's hand. And God selected that particular dj to narrate.

God gives us free will. He gave those who took over those planes the same free will he gives me and you. Could he stop it? Yes .. but then that would be taking away our free will. He was with those people on that plane, and it is not discusting. It is amazing love from an amazing God.

God is anything but disgusting, and if you were on that plane, I'm sure you would have been crying out for God too. And if you tell me that him being with you would be disgusting, then I am truely sad for you because you don't realize the comfort and strength that God gives us in times of need and total dispair. She wrote it in minutes, and then forwarded it to members of our family. It appears that all us forwarded it on to our friends. And on it went.
