WOW!!! I didn't klnow there was any live footage of these guys! I still have my old Genocide "submit to genocide" tape from wayyyyy back! This is very, very cool! Thank you for posting this!
Respond to this video...Yes I know Bob is the bassist and Pete is the guitarist ..Made a misatake no one is perfect ... Im not a snapper head ass hole Im a good friend of theirs for 20 years... Bobby ebz passed on a few years back! I just recenbtly heard from Bobby Sexton just last year.Hes in L.A hes a big film producer now!!! Get your facts straight you asshole!
Didn't Genocide and the Murder Junkies used to play together? I was too young to go to their shows, and GG died when I was a freshman in HS...I recognized him in some other videos as well...I'm sure you probably have some really crazy stories to tell, you should start a blog or something if you haven't already!
Last I talked to Bobby back in maybe `91-`92 down in L.E.S. ,NYC,where I used to squat ,(no, not crusty C-Squat) he was pissed cause someone stole his denim vest. haha. Never saw him so mad.Sucks cause he said he had a trunk back in Jersey full of old Genocide shit he was gonna give me a few things, then he had to go & die on us .Hey Bobby if your watching this video from Valhalla, you owe me man.
I am one of his ex GF's Gina.... I miss Bobby. Last time I saw him I walked out on him at St Marks Hotel. No one misses him more than I ... R.I.P baby...
And its Pete Powers on bass he was my buddy we all used to hangout at the Lizmor Lounge in the East Village..
Ohhhh my god. i thought i would never find this. i miss him a lot even though i only met him when i was young and once really. Love you forever uncle bob. me and my sister really miss you and would of like to known you more as an uncle. but we all love you.
The band was very cool. Death Angel was too. The local band opening was the premature babies.
Genocide werent fucked up at all, in fact I spent the entire afternoon with them and all anyone did was drink beer.... Bobby had an argument with the bassist about covering detroit rock city. It was funny...
Is he dead?? i havent heard...
There ya go, genocide were fun and very cool the day I met them!
Yeah, Bobby died wasted like his pal GG Allin, quite a few years ago. From what I heard he had been a homeless junkie/boozer, sleeping on the sidewalks of Loisaida for years before his demise. Sad, but... the real question is, when is someone going to release Submit to Genocide on CD??? Sexton, are you reading this?
The album "Submit to Genöcide" will be re-released on Horror Records in 2008 - on both vinyl and CD! This release will be massive and include two complete demo tapes as well!
I'm sorry to hear that. I loved this band. I'm happy to hear the album is being re-released (of course, I still have the record but it will be cool to pick up on CD). Anybody know if it's out yet?
So do Tommy Lee and Vince Neil and their managers, LOL. Just one more example of stealing an original concept, safe-ing/dumb-ing it down, and repackaging it for mass consumption.
What were they like onemansun? What ever happened to them? It's a shame to see people with such potential waste their lives on drugs. When he could stand up they seemed to do a decent show.I can't believe their on youtube. I thought i'd take a chance & here they are. Thanks very much for teh posts.
REAL FANS.
