I they want to really disprove that all the phenomena mentioned are not ghosts, they need to find the source of the EMF & the infra-sound. It still doesn't explain apparitions which are seen by several people (everyone can't be seeing the exact same thing if they are all experiencing hallucinations), sounds which have no apparent origin and individual objects which move with no outside force.
@mmedefarge I don't think they are trying to disprove all phenomena, I think that this is only one explanation to one type of claim out of the thousands of claims but scientists will always investigate and do research to try explain the experiences people have around the world, its fascinating to anyone whether they believe in ghosts or not.
Im sorry but i feel that this program was endorsed by skeptics. They could only explaind how small objects were moved,id like them to move a couch with a soundwave inaudible to the human ear.I dont think ghosts are an unatural phenemenon, after all i think thats chases realistic individuals away, who wants to say their house is haunted for fear of being deemed insane.Bottom line this program was just more skeptics reaching out and pulling more garbage out of the air.
@sdzechs Incidently, "Bottom line this program was just more skeptics reaching out and pulling more garbage out of the air." 1. This is factually inaccurate given that they described tests they did. 2. Aspects of neuroscience that you don't understand aren't automatically garbage.
Im sorry but it still seems like this program was endorsed by skeptics and ive read and done alot of research into how skeptics explain these things but they just dismiss these things with some of the most rediculous and naive explanations ive ever heard. I will never say that "ghosts" are supernatural or something that is beyond our understanding, after all I feel thats what drives most people away, but discarding a belief in the supernatural as a comfort blanket is pure arrogance.
This is actually a very enlightening show taking a look at the supernatural in a scientific manner rather then dismissing it altogether. I personally think that scientists should look at these matter more closely rather then dismissing them out of hand.

I believe in ghosts, but bravo to the science guy who tracked down the ghostly fan! He stayed calm and fixed the problem!

@sdzechs Right, so you wanted a bunch of non-skeptics explaining their feelings to you?

I was just reading about these experiments yesterday in a book by Dr Richard Wiseman. It's great to be able to see the actual people involved.
