ELL kids have the basic knowleddge of numbers but doesn't mean they know how to pronounce the numbers in English. Repetitioin is great for young children to learn because it helps them memorize the sounds. I used to learn English by listening to songs. I think the next step then, the student needs to learn how to apply those numbers to short phrase. Also, this teacher excaggerated her actions is to help the kids to understand the song.
ahaha :) very cute. Was looking for a song to teach basic dailyy routines to my recently-illiterate adult former refugee students. Got any ideas? eg. wake up, wash your face, comb y our hair, get dressed, etc.
seems like fun though can't hear the kids singing, only the tape. MOST of the kids would already know these basic numbers so not much is learnt. Better to use songs or poems that offer more such as 5 red apples on the tree, or 5 current buns in the bakers shop...
excuse me.....i am sure i cant see the teaching process in this video...only someone singing and moving her body....so how she conduct the class with song, surely nothing.......well actually what i need to see is in that point, not how to sing and move
she is teaching numbers to young children... so you are not excused... and learn how to write English if you are going to comment on an English video! Your coment makes no grammatical sense and your reasoning is not justified.
well done.
