Wow Magic Dirt! This song I remember most when I was in my college days in Perth (I'm a New Yorker now) way back then. Only just heard about Dean. Those were the days! Old school indeed.
Great band, great song. Still have this ep and the when life was better one, haven't listened to them in ages, so this was nice to run across. They were so so live, as in they were either going to be absolutely brilliant, or they were going to suck, and you never knew which one you were going to get until they started playing. BDO 95' and at the now defunct Punters Club in Nth Fitzroy the same year are examples of when they were brilliant.
i think i saw the dirt first time while support act with beck at the synagogue(god knows what year,,early 90's i guess) magicdirt,jon spencer blues explosision and beck,great gig,great band,,thanx for the post.
Makes me think of just running around all day, being young and free and all the stupid shit like that
