thanks for recording this! i was a helmet fan back in the day, but these guys had more depth, imagination and songwriting ability. just too too awesome.
Hey Helmet had as much depth and intellegence behind their music, hence why they are called a thinking mans heavy band, or what I call intellectual metal like A Perfect Circle, Prong, and Isis. They just have a very different style. Page Hamilton has a less melodic and more mechanical sound to his music, but makes a great an advanced composition. These guys are really amazing too and I am glad even in 2009 they were playing so should have seen them.
brilliant recording.....all of my recordings posted on here are done with a Flip Video. This show rocked. So glad i got to experience both nights...Thaks Man!
That was the most amazing jam at the end! I wish these guys would do a full blown reunion, but I was ucky enough to see them live Years ago. THey didn't play his song though. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for posting all the Hum reunion footage!! This is one of my all time favorite Hum songs. The emotion and dynamics in this song are amazing. By the way, what camera and microphone are you using?
I think the same. I think that it was all due to timing. If their stuff came out in the late 90's when everyone wasn't as grunge obsessed they would have had much more mainstream success.
loudest fucking concert I have ever seen. 95'...HUM and Castor at the 7th Street Entry in Mpls. Thank you for posting this. One of the MOST underrated bands EVER.
so awesome, i hope they play more shows all over the country. i miss them. i think they need to do a small tour across the country! they sound so good.
Yah, Matt would share a few words between songs. I remember him saying something like, "You're gunna like this one..." just before they jammed into Inklings. haha!
OMG!!! I love this song!!!!!
