Joss made two mistakes in the movie that made it pretty much unthinkable to revive the tv series 1. making it impossible to cast Ron Glass ever again, and 2. Making it impossible to cast Alan Tudyk, I won't say how though for those that haven't seen it though.

@wikieditspam Well, since there was clearly supposed to be a significant amount of time between the first season and the movie, I don't think it would be out of the question to write some material that takes place in between.

Though I personally would be okay with it if he just picked up where the series left off and pretended that the movie didn't happen, since the show was ten times better anyway.

It's weird, when i only knew Baldwin from Firefly/Serenity, it was odd seeing him without facial hair and minimal dialogue in Chuck. But now that I've been watching a lot of Chuck, it's weird seeing him smile, laugh, and have facial hair :)
