The truth is that a larger displacement engine will always have the ABILITY to produce more power, it's that simple, I'm not disrespecting the fact that this engine is making 1200...but for some one to talk shit with out realizing that there are MANY very street able turbo v8's producing over 1200hp and some with far more power, is just ignorant. go check out NRE's videos and you can see that a 1200 hp Supra is no big deal at all.

No, the supra is far from being the greatest car ever made. There's a world of others out there, Ferrari, Koenigsegg, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Mercedes AMG.. I would agree that for people who were interested in the Supra's, it was widely available. But even at that power level, in the late 90's the Camaro was equal in power, I would not go as far to say that either were one of the fastest production cars made.

Can EITHER car be build into a 2000 hp beast? YES! But that is AFTER MARKET and can not be called "production".

I am not a fan of half million dollar cars, i'm just saying you are using the wrong words to describe the Supra.

There are supras with 600 with stock internals that run low 9s. And your v8s are not weak but they're still pieces of shit. They are powerful but heavy as fuck and are only quick when going in a straight line. When they try to compete in any other type of race they get their ass handed to them.
