But the 2011 Shelby is so fast neither a camaro nor a challenger can challenge Shelby.

May be the new engine 6.4 will be able to challenge Shelby .

@Dubai5089 ohh ok. I think the GM and Dodge cars are still tooo heavy, so rather than bigger engines, they should consider making it lighter. the latest Mustang 5.0 has a great engine and the BOSS version had more RWHP than the Z06.... and as I know they are better on weight too.

@mcdoogle6969 yep but the the loss on Boss is much less then Z06 due to joints, trans. so it is pretty close on the RWHP numbers. on dyno dynamics they are having same rate. a comment from other guys:

Driveline loss for a solid axle-equipped car like the Mustang is typically 11-13%. This is a bit less than the usual 15-18% you'd expect on an IRS car, as solid axles have fewer power-sapping U-joints in their driveline.
