I'm a barista... and guys try to pull stunts like this all of the time. It's not cute or funny unless you're incredibly attractive ( and that's a HUGE stretch). Quite frankly, if you pulled that feminine voice "how many calories is this" crap, I'll more than likely just be annoyed by you.

If you want to talk to me, just come say hello and introduce yourself. There's no need for a "three step plan"... I'm not a coffee making fembot. I'm a human being, so treat me as you would any other girl.

Wow...This video is...So perfectly placed. By that, I mean the fact that I was downtown not too long ago and went into a coffee shop and a very attractive girl was the barista. She greeted me and seemed to be eyeing me the whole time. I didn't talk to her other than replying to her greeting though because I was with a few friends. That was my mistake. Hopefully I can go back there this week!

I think your gonna loose it if you have to wait so long before asking her out, she could think your slow in mind since its taking you so long time to take action and ask her out. I would say ask her out the second time you see here, because I dont think girls are that slow to decide if they guys who asks her out is something for her. She is gonna learn you better to know on the next coupple of dates anyways.

I am at about step two with a girl at a coffee shop in my town...My joke was kinda offensive but it opened her: She cut herself and had blood on my cup and than switched it out...I told her she probably could have left it since there was probably lots of childrens blood in the Dark Kenya roast anyway...I busted her balls on managing to cut herself in a coffee shop too. very nice. I was a Starbucks Barista too and this customer sitting there gave me his cup to bring to the back with a piece of paper.

I threw the paper and put the glass on the sink. Anyways later when I was cleaning up the sitting area and he was leaving, he nonchalantly nudged me and passed me another piece of paper. lol I took it and he smiled n said bye.

It said "You seem really nice! Can I get to know you? (his email here)" lol

Hey Arkady thanks for this and your other videos. I loosely followed this video but added my own touch to step 3 that was more relevant to the situation she was working in. And it worked nicely. I salute you good sir for this idea.

If you were curious she would always ask if you wanted your receipt, normally I decline. But on step 3 I said I would be more inclined to take it if her number was on it. It worked well because I could not remove her from the work post during busy lunch hours.

That's a good idea, although I am not a big believer in leaving numbers. Most women don't have what it takes to call a guy even if they are interested. Further, getting her number will only make you come across as a more confident and thus - more attractive guy. So, instead of writing down your number, you could say with a very serious face: "Excuse, something is missing" - she - what?

Ever try being pleasantly persistent? Sure, if she flat out tells you "I have a boyfriend," you can cut it off right there. But if she says something along the lines of "Well, I'm kind of dating this guy...", do you feel that's worth pursuing?

That's a great idea. If she something that she is "kind of dating this guy" you could say with a slight smirk: "Well, no pressure, it's not like we are going to marry, I am just inviting you for a cup of coffee and a little walk - what harm could that do?"
