I had no problem coming up with some footage..NOT telling us to hang on to the originals at the start is a problem..since now I had to re-convert the YouTube uploads back to DV-avi//which was a successful process../..so there are 4-files sitting here to be mailed-on DVD/..a very interesting project..I found it at about 3-PM on the July 24th day..and did really hurry along with what I was able to do--I even got the Single Sound wrong as it should have been--Favorite Sound.

Try going here, and then write your explanation of your problems, asking them to please understand and let your videos in anyway--especially if you still got something submitted--you can have submitted videos before they were done being uploaded--before the deadline hit. Write it the comments box where they ask you to tell them what explanation people might need for your video just before THAT explanation itself. I hope this will work for me, too, because I'm in the same boat.

unfortunately, Kevin, sad to say all that installing kword digitising hardware, drivers plus power director 5 and power producer 4 seems to have done is rob me of all my sound. I've been wrestling with it for about 36 hours (with a break to visit the beach yesterday) and it look like unfortunately I am going to miss the uploading deadline. I recorded several hours on 24th on two Hi8 analog tapes but sadly it seems I am not meant to share my location and activities with the world, just yet anyway

For all the people who say they cannot upload video, do not try to up load via the Life In A day YouTube Channel, upload them as normal on your own channel. Once fully uploaded, then return to the Life in A Day channel, hit the "submit your footage" button, then hit "Allow Access" you will then see your video on the left of the screen, click the video image once, then fill in all the video questions, do not double click on the video image, your not uploading video again or via their channel.
