I was at this concert - so beautiful! Thank you for bringing this to us to enjoy again and again!!! My son tunes down and practices with the clips:) I noticed that you have the same sony recorder that I have. My quality is also beautiful until I burn it on a DVD, then it is digitalized:( I use imovie and idvd, any advice. I live in the city near Farley.

@AnnSerenity We build our own ribbon microphones to record the violin, but DPA, Sennheiser and Schoeps all make good violin microphones.

@FedericoAndreas You can listen to the whole concerto on Magnatune and Instant encore (Magnatune is Free), but right now we have only the slow movement with HD video. All the English Concert recordings are great, of course.
