  • Awesome song ... a true classic ... and Del's version more than does it justice. ... Thanks for posting ... Wayne

  • thank you another great song ,sung by del ive never herd before ,thank you for posting it

  • When Timi sang this song, I fell in love with rock and roll. I have not heard this song in years. Very very underrated song. Del is great singing this song.

  • Del never met a song he couldn't sing. Awesome version

  • do you have the answer to everything from this concert?

  • Saw him a few times, and he always delivered

  • Thanks for posting this song I was in band on this recording we (John McFlare B and) did 2 tours with Del in 72 and 75 and he was a unique talent with unbelievable vocal range probably admired more now than back then but he always managed to bring the house down even doing 2 shows per night sometimes many miles apart Del gave his all everytime great performer and a very nice person thanks again for posting.

  • gotta love the drums

  • I love all you´re songs "DEL", as I love you for ever and ever, this is so good, miss you lots, caro

  • del shannon has been so under respected over the years. this is a tremendous version of this timi yuro hit. del was not a soul singer, but he was a very soulful guy. all his stuff is so heartfelt.

he was huge in england, but here in the usa we never really appreciated him for the serious talent he was...... great singer and songwriter. at least the rock n roll hall of fame took their head out of there ass for a minute and put him in. RIP Del.....thanks

  • Love Timi's version but Del's is the best version!

  • does any body know where i can get this from please its brilliant

  • The Del Shannon Live in England CD should still be available. Last time I saw it, it included a second album, And the Music Plays On.

It was issued by BGO Records. #BGOCD280

  • Great version, although my favorite is the Small Faces' cover. Does anyone know if Gene Pitney ever sang this? Seems it would have been one he could have knocked out of the park.

  • Timi Yuro is the definitive version for me with Ellen Foley ( Ian Hunter/Mick Ronson production ) and LJ Reynolds close behind.

Good to hear a good live version and the best Del Shannon for my money.

Surprised more artists haven't covered this quality song .

  • this is now been added to my favorites. thank you so much for posting. there was only one del . miss him forever.

  • Thank you for posting this hard-to-find version of the Timi Yuro hit. Del Shannon really put his heart and soul into the lyrics from this 1971 "Live In England" LP.

  • GREAT, I play it again, again, again . . .

    Many thanks from Sweden

  • Del shannon covered many songs you would never think he would do. Thanks for posting.

  • A true music legend singing one of the truly great songs of the 60's. Thanks.

  • Never would have expected this from,

    Del Shannon,

    Very Cool,
