that was tropical storm Hermine. There was another one on the east side of Dallas County just a few minutes earlier.

It's fortunate this tornado only touched down for a few seconds at a time. If it had stayed on the ground which it very easily could have, even at the same strength it was (EF2) this could have been very devastating.

I was at work at love field airport at continental ticket counter and we had all flights delayed and some diverted, we had to get away from the windows alot of people were inside scared it was amazing.

@webmike720 I just moved from Princeton, tx. to The Colony (near Frisco) tornados don't normally go through Princeton. You are safe. I left Princeton because the city does not get in a hurry to repairing things fast enough. One road, FM 982 been under construction for three years and still torn up. I hope you actually like it there.

@dannyoif i fiance lives there, we are planning to get a place in mckinney, but i'm pretty sure they get tornadoes there. i have to say princeton is really small compared to life in orange county, ca. traffic 24/7. i'm 23 and just want to get away from all that and the rude people.

AH man I was so scared last night and I work in Dallas like somewhat close to where the tornado hit I was so scared to drive home on the freeway and get sucked up into the tornado with my lil car but damn I hope this weather goes away soon i hate tornadoes they do alot of distruction and I can only afford liability insurance right now lol

I was at 75 and Mockingbird when my roomie, Laura, called me and told me that the twister was close by... What made it worse was that the red light that I was sitting at took FOREVER to change! I was like "Change, light... PLEASE freakin' go green!!"

OOOH MY GOSH!!! I was at my apartment packing my stuff up because it was 20 mins away from where I live. I was praying it didn't touch down and no one got hurt!! I have never seen a tornado this close to where I live or in 11 yrs since being in Texas. Incredible!!

I was at Highland Park High School and we were practicing our show for Grease and apparently it touched down four miles away from where we were, but we were huddled in the dressing rooms and it was SCARY. I have never been that close to a tornado in my life!!
