@1bonp- yeah i know i can take out the drives assuming thats not part of the problem you can even hook it up externally but thats a last resort. i guess your talking about that little drumroll like sound, which is an artifact of the sample, its not on the drum track. all my drums are samples, even if they are from a vst(rarely now) they are multis ect, i dont like synth drums for the most part. they are from a break and thats all i remember, either chopped ,looped, or wave edited

@minaeVStudio - shouldnt ask people what they sampled man. i spend a whole lot of time listening to random stuff looking for samples to just give them up and it really opens your eyes(or ears) to some shit you might have never found otherwise.

this one is no secret so ill tell you its miles davis but the track youll have to find for yourself. if you look youll find it very easy to find trust me and maybe youll find more that you like. have fun just dont go copying my chops.

thanks man, yeah the samples worked out real well for this one, especially the chorus chops, they almost sound like there not chops at all or like they're played in order. i hear you with the jazz samples, they can be a pain cuz a lot of jazz is all over the place. it can be real hard to make a beat with samples that have no real melodic direction.if there isn't you gotta usually take either whole parts or little snippets here and there. its hard to just chop it up sometimes.

then again some tracks are a breeze, it really depends on the instruments(piano is usually all over the place) and the musician. if you want a challenge, do something with some coltrane lol. some of that acid jazz is hard to even listen to let alone work with

hey man, you should be able to EQ out the hiss, usually its high frequency. I love the way you flipped the sample its really unique style and i love this hype track.

thatnks man, yeah that hiss/ snare roll is what i was referring to. for some reason that sound seems to have gotten louder. i should be able to either edit the sample or just play it out since its only a few keys.

And yes that chorus is chopped, just figuring someone will ask that since it sounds pretty seamless. might change the little piano sample and just play it out with keys instead to get rid of that little drumroll sound( or edit the sample whichever is easier)
