My horse likes to do this to me minus the bucking. When i pull back he pins his chin to his chest and keeps plowing forward, I have to dig my heel into him and yank him head to the side so he go's into a circle, sometimes it works, sometimes he does it again the second he comes out of the circle, he's a jerk :P
Wow. She like, barely tapped it's cheek and everyone's flipping out XD hilarious! Has no one ever noticed how much horses abuse each other when they're angry? But it's soooo bad if a person barely does anything! lol
hahahahahah. classic. xD and all of you bitchasssnobriders need to go take a shit in a dumpster because i would have slapped that horse's ass as well if one did that to me.
maybe instead of hitting him, get back on, make him run a lap or two. it was probably not even the horses fault - but all well. just let him know he did something wrong instead of hitting him. thats all :)
the horse wouldnt have even have known why the retard slapped him. maybe if stupid tubby lard arses like yourself learned how to ride, the equine scene would be a much more pleasent one and people stop talking about that slap being discipline cos clearly its not she should have gotten back on and like my instructor says, make the right thing comformatble, make the wrong thing uncomformatble. you dont have to be mean to them just put there attention on something else geez
its no big. she gave her horse a litle tap when he did the wrong thing an dit was probably to show him not to do that. the horse isnt dying its not bleeding or on the ground in pain. if she didnt it would probably keep doing it and being dumped on the ground isnt very pleasent
Why are you guys going on about this? Just GROW UP and mind your on buisness. Everyone has their different ways, who gives you the right to come and tell her what to do. Just get a life you people. Grow up and go do your own suff.
haha...my WP horse (normally very calm and easy, just green) had a four year old moment last summer where he bolted and bucked me off (after a few hair raising laps around the pasture, where we were riding because the arena was too wet). I think the bolting and bucking is the scariest way to fall because you have no control. Glad you were okay :).
omg. She barely touched the horse... calm down you wierd horse people who think ignoring everything a horse does will make it better.
it doesn't. Tried that for 3years and then started getting after my horse for throwing me. She stopped. If my horse had done that the punishment would have been a lot worse.
i hav eto say i do no agree with most of you when you slap the horse it does not hurt him i shows him when he does some thing wrong he does not get rewarded for i did not ge to see the last of the video but one or a few slaps is not bad as long as you dont go over bord. repremanding is just as good as rewarding. its like humans getting there hand or but smacked when they did some thing wrong!!!
not his fault he was trying to throw her? it is not cruel it shows him not to try and throw her. if you let a horse get a way with it it will get to the point where they try and hurt you, let you know they are boss. I have seen horses roll with people on their backs bcause no one has gotten after them. I have also seen many people get run into trees by horses who are trying to get them off.
wa wa you do not hurt a horse by slapping it in the neck. have any of you actually SEEN horses playing in a field? how sad. yes the falling off could have been avoided, but that smack in the neck was well earned.
Next time your horse does this pull him in a circle right when he takes off, and to prevent him from bucking pull his head up, horses cannot buck unless their heads are down. And don't listen to these crazy people, horses do NOT have short term memory. They remember everything, particularly bad experiences.
I agree with equestrian, but that does not mean the horse is not trying to throw you. it will get worse and worse sometimes to the point beyond repair so the horse can never be ridden again. If Equestrians thing does not work with a horse in time and the horse throws you and you let him get away with it, he is now dominant. get after him unless you clearly yanked him or did harm before he got mad. most things start out rider error, but then they can become horse error. experiance from my horse.

jasmiiiine 3 years ago
its not dumb its your own risk that you take. And in my opinion riding without a helmet is not very smart on every horse, not only on this horse!

Its not like she is beating the horse to death. It was a little slap to show he did
wrong. Or else its constantly going to happen.
Im not saying beat your horse till he bleeds or anything.

Horses do not have short term memory.
DarkBay24 4 years ago 2
they do if u beat them to long after it happened ur beatn them fer standin there.
like if a dog pees nd you yell at him 20n min later.
halfpass92 4 years ago
You should not be beating them in the first place!!
It's true if you are not quick to react to whatever it is they do, they will be wondering what they did...
But generally they do not have short term memory!
DarkBay24 4 years ago
yes not beatin wrong word.
punishment like a slap on the shoulder.
