  • These types of exercises are good if your goal is to have a slim, ripped body. However, if you aim to get big muscles then I suggest to do other types of exercise.

  • I really don't believe in clean and presses or your lunges with the shoulder press, arms get warn out much faster than your legs, I'd rather break the exercises down into two parts, do a clean really heavy with a barbell and then a standard shoulder press! Just me

  • so we do this workout one day then the other 2 the same week for say a month then switch it up?

  • 2:20 50lb dumbbell, i can do 60lb at 10 reps on 4 sets easy and at lease 275lbs on bench press at 3 reps and work my up to 275 weight and down to 185 while doing 10reps on each set and i only weight in at 170lbs. i always break 90 degrees with dumbbells to work chest muscles more!

  • In an interview they had with Hugh, he said to gain more muscle, he ate 1,000 more calories everyday than he normally would. Now that... is perseverance. Eating is the hardest part... especially eating healthy.

  • @alcaknight <=== You're right, eating is %90 key. The hardest part for me is not eathing "healthy" since my discipline is great but its the AMOUNT of food I must eat that is really hard : )

    over 3300 calories a day is really hard to eat, since I became vegetarian my stomach "shrank" and I can't eat as much, and there's only so many drinks You can drink too.

    In any case, I'm doing this, gotta get back in fighting shape . . .

    well of course, if you want to add muscle you need carbs for energy, and proteins for muscle repair. your body should only be using carbs and fats for energy. right now i'm about 205lb bulking to 220lb+ and i'm consuming 7,000 calories a day. dieting isn't really as difficult as people make it seem. you can still eat ice cream and chocolate even while trying to lose fat; that's just an additional 25+ minutes of cardio you have to do on top of your daily cardio.

  • @alcaknight yea but celebs workout 3-4 hours every day, 1 hour morning, lunchtime, after noon etc, cardio, core workout, weight training, yoga :) if normal people even ectomorph like myself will put on fat, unless you dont have a job or anything :)

Endomorphs are characterized by a naturally greater amount of bodyfat; mesomorphs typically have a more muscular, "athletic" build; and ectomorphs are very naturally low in terms of bodyfat percentage and have difficulty in developing muscular mass. One's height or limb length are not used to determine body type. In this case, I would agree that this guy looks like an ectomorph
