This made me cry so hard :'( It is so sad having to have people go through this kind of stuff. People where I live take things for granted. They complain about how "little" of stuff we have. U do have more trees there in Australia than I imagined...we also have a ton of them in our area of town...just North of Houston a lil' :o) We see lots of rabbits, squirrels, deer, woodpeckers, owls, hawks, turtles, ducks, skinks, lizards, frogs, lost dogs(found 14 in 5 yrs.!) thank goodness found all their owners! We're very lucky to have all these youtube videos dedicated to us QLD'ers It was a very sad time for us, my family was on a cruise ship for 2 weeks in new zealand we only found out about the flooding on abc on the cruise cause they didnt show channel 9 or 10 or 7. We were so sad and upset we were trying to hurry up and get home, we tok an early flight home with all the people from sydney going to help out with the floods. Its still very sad for me to watch now on youtube :( Nearly cried
Not many teens care about others but this song and Hero forever shows Jordan cares about others.. I havent seen no hate comments but if people are hating then i think they are stupid.. they may not like Jordan or this song but they have got to respect that Jordan is thinking about others.

But the fact you came out with this lovely, and heartfelt, response as soon as you could just speaks volumes about the kind of guy you are. I live in brisbane and the floods were extremely devastating. I know people who family who live in toowoomba as well as ipswich and it was quite a scary time for them. But i am very devastated about Jordan Rice. it was a very brave thing that he did and i feel sorry for the rescuer who came back to get jordan and his mother to find them swept away

@2837iloveyou this wasn't from the earth quake. The Australian floods happened late in 2010 and early January in 2011. It was horrible, thank god they didn't reach Sydney :(
these floods made me cry everytime they were on the news,ilive in townsville an it was horriable towatch towns around me get hit by the floods, my friends an i started a fund reiser to help, i really do hope the money we raised helped.

Than the next day this happened and my other bestest friend got hit by this flood cause he lives in Queens Land, Brisbane. hes ok though but his house got flooded. if he wasnt...idk what i would do cause hes like my only other really close friend. and RIP to all the people that died during this, God Bless you all. <3

I can somewhat relate. In summer of 2008 the Cedar river flooded. I was fortunate enough to not be affected by th floods, but it was just a mere 15 minute drive to see the flood. It was really devasting. Thousands of businesses and homes were swept away. Even today, three years later, they are still rebuilding. My heart goes out to Queensland. R.I.P Jordan and Donna and all others who died in the floods.<3

I have relatives in that area of Australia it made me SOOO worried when I heard about this and now I know how lucky I am to know they were not part of those 51 dead... Hey, Jordan. I can't say that the lyrics of this are as good as your amazing 'Hero Forever' (Go watch it everyone!) But the fact you came out with this lovely, and heartfelt, response as soon as you could just speaks volumes about the kind of guy you are. I think it was only one or two days after the flood, wasn't it? I do like this song too by the way.

I live in brisbane and the floods were extremely devastating. I know people who family who live in toowoomba as well as ipswich and it was quite a scary time for them. But i am very devastated about Jordan Rice. it was a very brave thing that he did and i feel sorry for the rescuer who came back to get jordan and his mother to find them swept away

@2837iloveyou this wasn't from the earth quake. The Australian floods happened late in 2010 and early January in 2011. It was horrible, thank god they didn't reach Sydney :(

these floods made me cry everytime they were on the news,ilive in townsville an it was horriable towatch towns around me get hit by the floods, my friends an i started a fund reiser to help, i really do hope the money we raised helped.

on the 11th my bestest friend in the world died from cancer, RIP Dustin Park Carlton. Than the next day this happened and my other bestest friend got hit by this flood cause he lives in Queens Land, Brisbane. hes ok though but his house got flooded. if he wasnt...idk what i would do cause hes like my only other really close friend. and RIP to all the people that died during this, God Bless you all. <3

I can somewhat relate. In summer of 2008 the Cedar river flooded. I was fortunate enough to not be affected by th floods, but it was just a mere 15 minute drive to see the flood. It was really devasting. Thousands of businesses and homes were swept away. Even today, three years later, they are still rebuilding. My heart goes out to Queensland. R.I.P Jordan and Donna and all others who died in the floods.<3

pt2..refusing to asses peoples homes, and refusing to pay out.... people say as Aussie's we will bounce back, but out here not just ipswich but all towns between here and toowoomba that lost everything including people, i think the spirit is fading hope is just about gone... many of the people here have lost faith in everything.we didnt just suffer the obvious loss, but for many access to food, housing, clothing, medical have been a struggle to get.. dont let people forget we are here. Hey Jordan, thanks for this, as an Ipswich residant and being so close to toowoomba where all this began it has really touched me to see this, i know unless people around the world have experienced it they wont understand, but as a man, this brought tears to my eyes watching this, out here we are still suffering so many people have given up hope, with little or no chance of rebuilding because of insurance companys

@TheJordanFusion they have receded now, but the devastation is still unclear.... The whole country is flooded... to give you an idea of the areaz of devastation from the flood, the area is the same size as Germany and France combined!
