Barely resembles the Mustang GT sound, but the sound is very similar to the new Crown Victoria sounds from the 00s (the one in the video must be an older Caprice).

Your attempt has given you the perfect result.

If it sounds like a real Mustang i dont know but i recorded it from the Mustang GT in Need For Speed Underground 2 so if it isnt completely right, its EAs fault heh, the sound i ended up with is very similar to the one in Underground 2

Actually, Mustang and Crown Victoria share the exact same engine, 260HP 4.6liter V8. So the similarity is no surprise.

Only thing is that the Mustang sounds like its operating at lower RPMs in NFSUG2. This one sounds like its at peak RPM most of the time. Which is probably the case with real Crown Vics, because of their extra weight.

EA's sounds are pretty accurate though.

Well Engine sounds change, lightweight or heavyweight. Heavyweight=Deep sound, and obviously the lightweight is light sound

Ahh yes, well i didnt extract it hehe, i turned all sounds off exept the engine sound and used fraps to record the sound, i then just raced the highways for a few mins and edited the sounds

There is two multiplayer mods for GTA SA. One is MTA and you can download that from "mtasa" official website, the other is SAMP however I dont play that but it can be downloaded at "samp" official website

Bank_080 and Bank_081 is the cop cars engine files, Bank_68 - Sound_11 and Sound_12 is the main and secondary siren

That is not a gta siren!!! If the siren is on in san andreas the emergency lights should be on!!!!

Like i said to USASPD, this was recorded in the map editor of Multi Theft Auto, the online mod for San Andreas and sometimes the lights just doesnt show. But if you dont wanna believe it thats fine.

Do you use audacity or something like that, to modify your sounds? Isn't that difficult to change that with Audacity, once you know how to work with it, it 'll be no problem...
