I think Mike Breen is a great play-by-play guy and Mark Jackson is a great color man. Jeff Van Gundy has to go though. he tries to be a comedian when he isn't that funny at all.

Mike Breen is so funny naturally funny. I used to hear him work on WFAN. Self-effacing, down to earth. Too bad his play-by-play job mutes the best of what he does best.

yeah i like him when he does the espn/abc basketball games. he, mark jackson and jeff van gundy do an awesome job. the los angeles lakers could use a guy like that to do play by play on tv, our current one, joel meyers, sucks. breen or marv albert would be just fine with me. or kevin harlan. a great team needs a great play by play man.

My Dad and Mike Breen were friends in college and used to rent houses in the Hamptons together with Michael Kay who brodcasts for the Yankees.Mike Breen got his start on Imus' show doing sports.I ran into him with my dad in 1999 in the Hamptons.He remebered him and he was very nice.

Mike Breen is the worst announcer in the history of sportsbroadcasting - everything he says is either negative or ignorant and when Van Gundy and Mark Jackson have to keep correcting him or telling him to shut up, it's time for ESPN to send him packing, the one-way SOB. He can take his boy toy Dan Shulman with him as he leaves broadcasting forever.
