nimmi off screen beauty. dilip had crush on her. he told the director at one time while shooting a movie with nimmi to roll the film while i get to do a pretend scene... just to touch her ,guess what happened...that was followed by a slap on his face...poor dulip!

Amar is one of my favourite classic film. I saw Nimmi for the first time and I was mesmerised by her charm and intense feelings she acted with as an innocent young and village girl who is full of life.

Madubala played her role so well that she seemed devine. Dilip too did atmost justice to his role and looked wonderful!
