It depends on the town. A lot of the cops in my town are complete jerks, but the town next over, the cops are nice guys. It could be because my town is a lot more poor than the one next over.
Until a person has a reasonable amount of first hand experience in the world of a police officer, I believe there opinions are invalid. Lines can blur very fast when you are on duty. not to mention when a person wears a badge its like a bulls-eye over your heart. Fact: some cops are bad ( that how humans are) but the vast majority of police officers do the job right, and with honor, and respect for the law...its not there fault that the bad cops are the ones who get all the media attention.
