And not simple heckling but sheer hatred. Just last week with the condom incident with the school girls-an international embarrassment. That's the main reason this center right voter cold never belong to a party that would have someone like those folks as a member regardless of the fact that 90% of my pals are liberals.

  • How is it that I can never find the reply that was just emailed to me? C'est la vie. In response to the observation by FRC that there's little tolerance for dissent or op-Ed opinions these days, I couldn't agree more. And further, speech control is characteristic of totalitarianism.

  • Just archies way of saying, people have been killing eachother since cain smashed his brother abel in the head with a rock. Knives, Spears, clubs, swords, axes, arrows, Poison, and yes...even windows. Take away guns, and people will just find another way to kill.

  • All i am saying.... is that in every human depiction ever drawn ... be it cave art.... bronze age... or the dark ages.... man was always pictured WITH A WEAPON!!

  • I have a better idea, let's ban crime! Doh!!!!

  • One of the best arguments against gun control I've ever heard!

  • What season is this episode from, & what is its title? Thanks!

    Bravo, Archie Bunker!

  • we need shank control! Too many people are running around with sharp metal and potentially dangerous objects. People are so stupid. Whether it's guns, bombs, knives,or baseball bats, the problem is not the weapon but the person who uses the weapon.

  • All I know is when I lived in a Communist nation, people were not able to get guns.

So they just stabbed each other instead!

Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

  • @NinjaGhostScorpion: Nice!!!

  • Back in those days, politicians, however slimy they were, had something called honour. If they got caught doing something they weren't supposed to do morally or ethically they stepped down. These days, we don't demand that from our politicians. We're too busy playing the partisan game. Ethics only matters if the other side is doing it. Nixon was a bad president, but at least he had respect for the presidency and resigned. These other clowns don't think that stuff matters.

  • I love how people want to keep guns legal and try to say its for hunting, yet a pistol hasnt got the power range or accuracy to kill any animal except one with no legs, its perfect for killing people though... which is what everybody uses it for thus why theres over a 1000 murders related to guns in US while in canada its about 67, and most of them done by americans carrying american bought gun. But ofc fact a country next to US has illigel guns and far less gun crime isnt proof against guns....

  • lol the best show ever

  • I got to admit, the title of this video almost made me wet my pants XD

  • The 70's is when the liberal brainwashing started via the television.

  • @Minionuup The right wing in this country does quite a bit of "brainwashing" on TV and in print media as well.

  • @frc1968 The truth is incontrovertible, malice may attack it, ignorance may ignore it, but in the end, there it is!

  • @frc1968

The flowchart seems to run from Com. Manifesto-liberal arts college-liberal TV-liberal media and in an 75% center right right nation.

  • @houseofcharm Maybe your flowchart does. I assume that you would prefer only a certain flowchart be used that meets the approval of those with whom you agree. Where's the freedom in that?? Apparently you have something against "liberal arts college." Whatever happened to freedom of thought and idea in this country that so many have given their lives to ensure?? Are we to have education by only one strict standard? That, my friend, is the making of dictatorship.

  • @houseofcharm Basically, I'm willing to put up with what you have to say as long as you are willing to put up with what I have to say. This country was founded upon freedom of speech after all. If we can't have that then we don't have democracy.

  • @frc1968

Both parties are guilty of brain washing

  • @Minionuup yea I know

  • @Minionuup Both the far left AND far right do there share of brainwashing. This is a comedy clip. Lighten up a little.

  • @wilatemodel What's that supposed to mean? That's just a meaningless soundbite. Are you suggesting that governments only retain power over their citizens because they fear that they will otherwise be violently overthrown? That's simply not true. What about Watergate? Nixon was forced from office in disgrace by the court of public opinion when the majority was no longer willing to consent to his administration's leadership. If he hadn't surrendered to those demands, Congress would have removed h

  • @spike1138 Nixon controlled the army. Congress couldn't have forced him to do anything. However the 10s of millions of people violently protesting made him not choose that option.

  • Sorry, we do not have a violent crime rate ten times the US here in the UK, I'm not sure where you get your stats from.

The fact is, it's easy to stand across a street and pull a trigger, putting a blade in someone or physically beating someone is something much harder to do because the physical sensation of doing so is so many times more psychologically intense, most people find it harder to cross that line and inflict harm up close.

  • @spike1138 an unarmed population are merely subjects,..

  • @spike1138 Yeah you're right! You just get more people killed with bombs made from common fertilizer!

  • that is convoluted logic! Now in Virginia, all the gun toting nuts want to be able to stockpile guns and turn Virginia back into a gun running state-one gun a month is surely enough.

  • @3dartistguy Ummm, there's absolutely nothing convoluted about that logic. Would those people be any least dead if they were stabbed? No. Taking a look at the statistical evidence, banning firearms will usually lead to a decrease in firearms related crime (duh) but does NOT lead to a decrease in the overall crime-rate. So you must ask yourself, what are you more interested in, decreasing only the firearm crime rate, or the violent crime rate as a whole?

  • Maybe if we had had some form of gun control back in the early 1960s President Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Robert F. Kennedy and many others wouldn't have been assassinated....I happen to think that would be a good thing if they hadn't been taken away from us. England does not have the high death rate we have for one simple reason, they have no GUNS, duh, so it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize this. Poeple do kill, but GUNS give people the ability to take a life all too easily.

  • @3dartistguy It would be great if we had all 3 of those men back, but there is NOTHING that says that banning legal ownership of firearms would have saved them, for the simple fact that simply banning something does NOT automatically lead to that thing being difficult to acquire by criminal elements. England has a violent crime rate 10x that of the US, so obviously their gun policy has done next to nothing to prevent violence. Check the stats out for yourself, they are open to the public.

  • @3dartistguy The simple fact is that you cannot prove that guns lead to more violence, because the evidence available shows that higher gun ownership rates do not automatically lead to higher violent crime rates or even higher murder rates. Poverty and poor education have MUCH more to do with violent crime, but these issues are difficult to address because of the anti-gun movements constant push to keep us focused on an implement rather than on the problem itself. It's a sad situation.

  • @3dartistguy I'd post the relevant links, but youtube will not allow it it seems. However, if you go over to the democratic underground forums, in the guns section, you will find a recent posting about gun murder rates in the US, and reply 106 has the information on this topic I am speaking of.

  • @3dartistguy I see you're a history buff, lol. 1.Gun control started in the U.S. in the early 20th century, we did have gun control back in the early 1960's. 2. King and RFK were assassinated in 1968, not the early 60's. 3. King may have been a loss, but good riddance to the Kennedys. 4. London DOES have a higher violent crime rate than NYC. 5. Someone willing to risk life in prison or the death penalty to commit murder is not going to be deterred from obtaining a gun by any gun law.

  • @3dartistguy It is not for you or anyone else to determine how many guns someone can own. Fact is, all mass shootings take place in gun free zones. Also within the US, crime is much higher in areas with strict gun control...DC, Chicago, LA, than in places like Indianapolis, Houston, and Virginia.
