i got the s9 getting an ipod touch because i want it for internet connectivity.and the games functions that it has. But i'll probably keep the cowon on me since i want the cowon for my multimedia and the screen is oled which is awesome, also the proven scratchproof screen.

Its a portable media player, and when it comes to doing that the A3 is significantly better. If you want a stylish mp3 player the Touch is for you. If you want a media player that plays just about any media file type (try playing a ogg audio file or a mkv video file on an a Touch, it is not happening) and you want to "delete" files and have a 10 channel equaliser then the Cowon A3 is for you. Also you can plug a USB thumb drive into a cowon a3 and it will read it, Touch needs a PC/Mac to do anything other than play music, the Cowon A3 (runs Linux) is a PC that plays media.

as for me, i don't like to sync my files. i like to move stuff around and delete things frequently. with cowon, i don't have to wait for music and videos to convert. just drag and drop.
if they could combine the power of cowon with the sexy interface and wifi of ipod touch, i'd buy that without thinkin
If you just want a media player to show off to your friends and don't care about actually using the thing, get the Ipod Touch. If you actually cared about watching movies and listening to music get the cowon A3. It's that simple.
