  • Dont give that away...if u do i will pay cash for it right now

  • Nice!

  • Can you believe this guy wants to trade this amazing car for an old land cruiser or supra?? If your reading this comment, please help me convince him that he needs to keep this car. there is so much sentimental history behind this car.

  • @NatinskiFilms whoops, forgot myles was logged on to my shiet, i replied with his account.

  • That wasn't a launch, that was a burnout... pretty cool though

  • By the way I heard you hit the rev limiter(lol).

  • So Cool..

  • Do you have a mini spool in your Nova?

  • @getinmoney4sho yes sir

  • @JonesingForSpeed I want to get a mini spool now for my 87 regal after watching your video

  • @blockboi9211 Thank you sir and thanks for featuring my vid on your page! Im really flattered and glad you think its worthy. You should post up some vids of your vette, sounds like a nice little street car. I gotta post new vids up of this car, its not quicker by any means it just looks a whole lot better after the paint. Take care and if you ever need parts or have any questions about builds or spec designs and matching let me know, Ill be glad to help.

  • @JonesingForSpeed yea thanks man ill try an see if i can post some vids becuase my camra broke an lost my old youtube acount but i have vidoes of it on youtube under my old acount its hard to find but ill link thrm to ur page or mine right now i got the stock wheels on it sensce its parked but yea some thanks for adding me

  • imagine if that green truck had been 1 second earlier...DAMN!!!!

  • @savagenomore haha, nah, I actually saw the driver as I was passing by to make sure he was aware of me. He had a nice little grin on his face when I scooted by him.

  • I have a 4100 custom stalled Redneck converter built for my 72 Nova with my 383 I just assembled. It should go 525 HP easy enough. Should run some low 11's. My last 71 ran 11.60's and left just like your car. It had a 3500 TCI converter in it. Nice car you have and a nice video.

  • @sbc1320 Thank you sir =)

post vids and link it to me when you're done with your project

  • Just put her to the floor and let that posi do the rest

  • nice it launches perfect ...

  • God bless america

  • That just made me smile.

  • Now thats a real man's burnout. Most people do the lame powerbrake burnout. I've seen Yugos do a powerbrake burnout. Great Looking and running Nova.

  • @surrynet  :D

  • GOD DAMN!

  • very nice!!! looks like that is not the first launch to be performed at that spot.

  • Sound Beefy!!!

  • i think i just buss a nutt

  • that bitch sounds and run good. i have a 383 stroker roller motor i have to fix the piston in it. i cant wait.

  • SMOKUMIFYAGOTUM AND BLAZEALLDAYZ N-O-V-A- NUFFSAID

  • Awesome

  • Dam that car is nasty

  • About how much are one of those continental converters

  • @infamousnova about $850-$1000

  • @JonesingForSpeed wow!!! lol... they should be the best

  • I am also running a redneck performance converter an it is not what I expected, but for the price like you say it gets the job done. Just not good enough lol

  • @infamousnova haha, I know exactly what you mean... So far, I think the Continentals are probably the best converters I've run. Everything else, I'm always disappointed. In the future, Im sticking to Continentals...

  • who made your converter

  • @infamousnova in the video it was Continental, now im running a converter by Redneck Performance. I like the Continental converter better, but for the cost, the Redneck Performance converter does the job just fine.

  • Fucken cool!!!

  • Awesome video and thanks 4 not killing the video wit MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • well personally im a hot rod freak and I fully got the point of your video, it was a baaaaaaad ass launch and that 383 is sick as hell. Good vid dude and sweet car!

  • @tha1gixxer Thank you sir =)

  • I love the sound .... music to my ears !!

  • AWESOME !!!!

  • @mylesgriego

no need for hostility, It says in the title "launch street radials" it doesn't say 69 nova burnout. But I do agree it's a bad ass nova. A pretty sweet street machine.

    @jonesingforspeed

I was only telling you what I do with my 3000 stall converter. Not what YOU should do. I don't know the details about your car.

    @nathansohm

I know a fair bit about cars because I have been building my own for the past year. As for the cartwheels, I used to be interested in acrobatics. So what?

  • @TMSninjas

Launching at 2k with a 3k stall huh? Awesome, sounds like you know your stuff man =D

"I don't know the details about your car." YOU WIN A PRIZE!!!

    Here's your prize:

don't comment on peoples videos when you don't know what you're talking about

  • @jonesigforspeed

if its not asking for to much info what type of heads do you have on this combo? Ive been watching the clips and your car runs really strong im building one myself to drop in my regal to take care of some of the loal ford boys!

  • @80robbieg3 The heads I have really arrant that good. They are the Eldelbrock Performer RPMs, the nice thing about them is that they are very deceiving. When people see those heads they expect the car not to run too strong. What they don't know is that those heads were gutted out and the internals were completely changed. Fully ported, increased valve sizes and k-motion springs. Also port-matched to the fully ported holly strip dominator as well. But if i were you, get the AFRs

  • Pretty bad ass nova you got there. nice street burnout man. TMSninja thinks you were trying to launch, but i know you were burning out. what a fucken dumbass.

  • In my opinion, that wasn't a good launch. If you really wanna get a good launch, then you should try to feather the gas so you don't break the tires loose, especially on the launch or else all you're gonna do is peel the tires and at the drag strip that equates to poor 60' times. When I launch (street tires) I foot brake, bring the revs up to about 2k, then I release the brake and as more traction is available I can apply more throttle. It takes less than 2 seconds til I'm at full throttle.

  • I really think you missed the point of the video sir... But thank you so very much for your knowledge, I'll make sure I launch at 2000rpm with my 4500rpm stall converter from now on =)

  • @JonesingForSpeed lmao. owned

  • @TMSninjas You should check out his other videos, 7.39 at irwindale.

You know, you seem fairly knowledgeable about cars and such for someone who only does cartwheels... Thats right, i went there =P

  • 4 link or ladder bars?

  • @Kracing6674 Leaf Springs lol

  • @JonesingForSpeed Are you running stock height leaf springs? Have you done anything different to make it hook up so good, sounds like a lot of hp to have hooked up so good.

  • @rebelbike21 The leaf springs Im running are actually the heavy duty multi leafs, I also have a spool and BBK Lift Bars. The Sub-frame connectors and the 10 point cage also help keep everything rigid. Thing I love most about my car is that it rides like a new car, real solid, quiet with no rattles. Most old cars rattle and flex at every bump of driveway you hit and sound like they are about to fall apart,

  • @JonesingForSpeed I have a mopar.....ditched the leaf springs and did the right thing by putting ladder bars on it.

  • i love it.... looks like you have a 4 or 6 point in there?

  • @DDPBOYDE3 Its actually a 10 point. cant really see it too well but the cage goes all the way through the rear fire wall into the trunk

  • The bicycle's a wash but I could use a turbo for my Kaw. thanks!

  • Get off the road in in the middle of the day with that shit before you kill somebody?

  • @Bumsteady08 if you need parts for your bicycle let me know lol....

  • this is one of the happiest videos ever!!!

  • shift lol

  • @ratman33333 haha i know right... rev limiter loves me

  • that thing would kill with slicks

  • I just splooged.

  • Now thats what I'm talking about!!! Sweet! :D

  • How much Horsepower?

  • @iMatt928 630

  • This video makes me want to go back in to the garage and finish my build... I just gotta keep telling myself "it's 10:30 at night and you have to work in the morning"

  • @antfarmsubie80 haha! I checked out your vid, let me know if you need any parts for your scooby. Check out my website, we sell subaru parts galore.

  • nice video ! i like your nova , i have a 72 . they wouldn't be as much fun without those posi units would they

  • @ifab2holeshot yeah peglegs are horrible... but one nice thing about pegleg is that you can roast your tires for days, just make sure your buddies are standing on the right side of your car or else it wont be so cool haha!

  • it looks like that 383 runs really good me and a friend are building a 1971 nova im pretty sure it was an ss car. and we are turning it into a copo clone. we were thinking bbc until everyone said to go with that 383. what did you get yours?

  • @skatecory123 Yeah man, 383s are great little motors. The motor was built by my company engine builder (Donnie Hughett) and If you would like us to put together a good little street motor for you, let me know. Just click on my profile and go to my website and email me. Hope this answered you question. Thanks and take care - Ken Jones

  • @skatecory123 You can know for sure if you get a chilton's manual and match up the numbers codes with the codes in the book.It will tell you what motor and trans originally came with it along with what rear end was in it as well as what rear end it originally came with it and weather or not if it was an air conditioning car or not.

  • love it!!!

  • @70dustpan Thank you sir =)

  • Damn i like that! nice marks. whats the nova packing?

  • its just a little 383 stroker =)

  • I love how it hits the rev limiter right before 2nd gear.

  • Nice

  • I know ur sellin it for $27500

but how much do u approximate u put into the car? Its beautiful by the way!

  • i like when cars take off like this. and there wasnt a brake light in sight!

  • whats the cam specs

  • Its a .642 lift / 300 duration forged mechanical roller

  • I have - 1 3/4" Hooker SuperComp Headers, 3" Pipes to 2 Chamber 40 Series Flowmasters in front of the axle. 3" pipes go up and over axle and dump down in an outward angle before the bumper.

  • My favorite car, i can only salute for this great model!

    Nice job done with it!

Can i get some snapshots about the vehicle?

  • ive been tossing aroung the idea of a383 in my 73 nova, vortec heads.... 400 to 450 horse or just a built up 350 not sure yet. but i really like high rpms from a small block. best sound in the world

  • what stall converter? awesome car, i have a 72...unpainted as well lol

  • Hey Hawkman, I know I already replied to you regarding this, but just for everyone else, its a 4000 stall with anti-baloon plates on a TH350 Manual Valvebody and race clutches.

  • Awesome burn-out...nice sounding engine.

  • yeah haha! I did, I have a MSD 6AL box with an 8200 limiter on it.

  • damn! did you hit the limiter? bad ass nova

  • sweet nova i have a 71 nova
