See this is why music back in the 50's and 60's are awesome. What you heard on the album was what you heard live. Artists didn't change a thing from the recording studio to the stage. So many artists today sound great on the album due to technology, but sound terrible live. I was born in the wrong decade!
How come none of the instruments are plugged in? Especially the keyboards. And why aren't the horn players playing when I hear the saxophone in the song? Hmmmm.....looks very suspicious
@ldubdj haha yes... just listen to the original, its the same...this video is edited, the music is not live, it is playback, orr the person who posted edited... and this song was recorded with another singer, not that one, and it would be good to see how it would be in his voice.
The singer resembles The Foundations' original lead singer, Clem Curtis, but is not the singer who popularized this song. That man is Colin Young. Search for the 2004 clip of Build Me Up from a British TV show, and you'll find a non-lip-sync'd version that sounds great!
