3.4 MILLION passwords is chickenshit. You think a dictionary hack is a good example of hacking capabilities? Nothing but dumb script kiddies use this crap anyway.
Well, there is a cloud service just for it, how many password? Over 500 millions. How much time it takes to test all that? Under an hour. Price? Just $20 bucks.
In case you didn't notice, this IS a cloud. 15 computers equip with GeForce 8800 GT. Besides, a cloud service is still just being a dumb script kiddie.
I wanna see wpa2 with strong random password cracked. This is still a dictionary attack, any well secured wireless network will have no problem with this attack. I'm using 64 character random pw on my wpa2. I just wanna know if its crackable. I think not though.
Exactly. This will not break any SERIOUS passkeys. My password is 28 characters long consisting of numbers, letters, and symbols.
It would take years on a standard hackers computer to generate/pregenerate the rainbow tables required to hack something of that nature. Your's is absolutely impossible in reasonable time unless a VERY large cloud cluster was used, like the Conficker cluster.
@karserasl wifi passwords needn't be typed in over and over, and I suppose since you don't even know that, you're a terribly unreliable source in the vicinity of encryption safety.
Also: If that "good hacker" has less that 100 computers running pyrit, I have a great chance, since I have router monitors, and if a "good hacker" broke my password, I would change it immediately. See how much this "good hacker" accomplished? Nothing, since he'd be back to waiting for weeks.
Hey mister, when are you people going to get PS3's working with Pyrit? They're cheaper and have more GPU power than GTX295's, can be networked and don't need a massive power supply, memory or motherboard.
Didn't you already post this non-sense on another thread? The one with the Supermicro 1U with two Tesla C1060s?
The PS3 has about 200GFLOPs of floating point computation using the Cell. It would be exceedingly difficult to write non-graphics code for the RSX as it's an old, non-unified shader design.
A GTX 295 has nearly an order of magnitude more single precision floating point power than a PS3. You're either one of those PS3 fanboys or a crackhead.
4 x gtx295 are the same and you save much energy for the same price , dont understand you guys ? why dont use 15 gtx 295 ? its the same like using 15 matrox mystique 4 mb....

Nice set up you've got there, just wondering where can I download the patch for MPI support from? Is it still available to download?
Thanks

jambub 2 years ago
@jambub
yes you can
I use WPA2-AES and my passkey is random such as: djhHGSKJSBHB*^^"$£*^
i change it every month or so just to keep freeloaders off my internet
OhNoNotMyPenis 2 years ago
@whatthebleepady Congrats then m8!!! It takes you over 5mins just to type the password or what?
This type of attacks just prove that the WPA isnt safe. Thats all.
You honestly think that if you get target by a good hacker you even have a chance? Stop posting BS!!
