  • I still love doing stuff on MTV MG2!

Unfortunately, MG1 does not play well on the PS3...not for me. The sound is messed up.

  • i need music 2002 D=

  • Reminds me of the Slinky CD Rom disc I found at EB GAmes ages ago in Rundle Mall, going out for seventeen bucks, they gave it to me for fifteen, had no notes in the pack, so how to use it at the start, well that took three months, then I found on Google, some notes on Slinky CD Rom, how to use it, those wicked light shows it has. Its got some great sound samples on it and I have never seen many light show things that vaguely compare to the brilliant half preset, half write it yourself lights.

  • I use this program to this day! Just for fun though. Check out some of my game remixes I've done! The program is pretty awesome once you master it... : )

  • im gonna go find a pocket music rom!!!!!!!!

  • You can buy it new on amazon for $250! or used for $2 lol

  • I hope someone can put up a torrent on Pirate Bay for MTV Music Generator on PC. I would love to try it out. Tried to find copies for pc on ebay, but they're real pricey compared to the PS1 version.

  • @SonicPro96 If I was you I would avoid the PC version. The PS1 is much better for the following reasons:

    -Much fewer crashes

-Mono sound effects. Basically, forget about deep trance or anything that requires a good stereo reverb.

The only upside the PC version got over the PS1 one is the higher sound memory and not having to burn your samples on CDs to import them.

  • @DJOmnimaga Oh ok. Thanks.

  • @SonicPro96 By the way, I wonder if anybody tried doing the Beavis and Butt-Head theme on MTV Music Generator itself? I'd love to see a video of that.

  • Now i want a gameboy and gonna hunt down gameboy version.

  • @BeatMakerTV wait theres a gameboy version whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • This was a good tribute to ALL the music generators!

  • AFIAK the 1st MTV Music Generator was available for PC, it goes for either insanely high, or relatively cheap, though

One site I saw wanted $275 for it

  • Amazing software.. so practical

  • Love love love MUSIC 3000 and it's predecessors!

  • I enjoyed MTV Music Generator the most, I had the little USB microphone adapter thing for it which worked with Music 3000 butI could never get into 3000 as much, don't remember why!

  • @SqueeksoAo Yeah same here. My favorite was Music 2000/MTVMG (the PS1 one that came out in North America)

  • Whats the name of the music playing from 1:53 and out? Its stuck in my head :P

  • @GlowingAmraam See end of video. It lists all songs used in the video.

  • @DJOmnimaga

    Thanks, got it! :)

  • @GlowingAmraam haha i made that tune mate! i made it on mtv music generator 2 a few years back. thanks mate thats made my day :) my producer name was pillagemyvillage and the song is crystal clear. i might remake it one day on pro gear!!! :)

  • @pillagemyvillage

Cool, i still enjoy this tune! ;)

  • this is cool Omni!

  • i got the one for the gbc

  • Good music 2000

    All music 5/5 stars.

    1 question, refer to m 3000 ps2.

Im feel this music 3000, not have a timeline tempo exactly, and can be time lag in loops.

    Is my imagination..

  • I love Music, and I still own and use the original now and again. It's so easy to use and I think it should be remade onto newer consoles.

    Great video. :)

  • i really hope jester interactive make a game for the ps3, that would be the she-aat!

  • I used to love these games and would gladly pay stupid amounts of money for a new version on Xbox Live Arcade! I never knew that Game Boy version existed, the song at 2:38 is amazing!

    Great Video.

  • i think the first was better

  • where can I buy a computer, MTV Music Maker

  • I went into Gamestation today asking if there are any music making games on any of the current generation. I think its terrible there are none. Any help for one on the PC? I am used to Music 2000.

  • that shit was totally awesome

  • Codemasters jester and allowed many of us to create music easily with a tool powerful enough ...

    Beautiful tribute :-))

  • What a great tribute! Thanks for compressing several crazy years of my life into 7 minutes of video... ;O) Hopefully at some point soon my work on eJay will be complete and then maybe I can orchestrate (haha! bad pun) another console based MUSIC product? Time will tell! [ Tim Wright - Designer MUSIC, MUSIC 2000, MTVGM2, Pocket Music, Music 3000 ]

  • I am unsure who marked this as spam, but I am curious when is the next ejay is supposed to come out? I wonder if there could be an Ejay Clubworld 2 for 360 or Wii, that would be cool since these consoles are more powerful and has more memory than PS1 and 2. Actually, it would be even cooler if it worked similary to Music 2000 or MTVMG2 with horizontal scrolling, since these are the two that are still used the most since they are less limited and has the best sound quality

  • That could bring a tear to a glass eye...if the owner of the glass eye was a longtime Music user.

HELLOOOOO?! Is there anyone at TIMGUL with a glass eye?!

  • Top tunes : )

  • Great Job

But How could i find this as software for pc ? can u please tell me ?

  • I never got able to find them via torrents/warez sites since they are incredibly rare and not in demand, but I got lucky to find Music 2002 on Ebay at $5 a year ago on the UK site. You need to check quite often for a copy of M2002 or 2000 PC and check amazon. com and co. uk too from time to time

The only ones avaliable for PC are Music 2000/MTVMG and Music 2002, though.

  • Great video idea. Is the music your own?

  • not all of it, only the songs from Pocket Music to MTVMG3 are, the rest are by people from TIMGUL
